Southern Rock Racing Series kicked of the 2016 season with a bang. They held their first event at Stoney Lonesome Offroad park in Bremen Alabama. They picked out 2 of the nastiest hills in the park for the 34 drivers to hit. These two hill provided a great challenge to the drivers and one heck of a show for the crowd. Boy, Showtime 2.0 is just wicked!! That air-out at 9:40 was pretty damn impressive too! Seems like a lot of the smarter guys just wait around for TC to build their buggies for them :-].

Bobby was there & crossed the start line of both trails to get a few points. Said they were getting coolant in the oil, thinking it was a bad head gasket so he didn't attempt the hills.
Love this stuff. Nothing like this on the west coast.

i have noticed that Tims' buggie with the independent front suspension, is not catching as much air as the solid front axles. so my question is, is independent going to replace solid front axle? my favorite vid of the year so far....thanx :-)
I think the reason is that ifs absorbs the bumps much better than solid axle, and its going to be harder for ifs to get air time. Some of the disadvantages on using ifs i guess
+CamoLot Rzr It does that because it is setup for all of the travel to go up. Had he tuned it more he could have had more bounce just like the solid axle guys. Instead of learning to tune it he abandoned the IFS idea.
One guy in one of the buggies just proved that you dont need to be screaming the throttle to make it up.

most of them have baffled oil pans that keep them from starving

unfinished business you mean?
money maker was the IFS buggy he built and only raced once. he tore it down in a week and built a straight axle "unfinished business" to finish the season. but yes this buggy he is in is money maker
