When our 10 yr old, 90lb Black Lab had hip problems, we used a rolled-up bath or beach towel under his hips to help lift his back legs. He'd use his front legs and we'd just follow from behind, with the towel underneath him while he climbed stairs, etc. It keeps from having to dig your hands/fingers into his body. Was very helpful to let him move at his own pace. Digging the RV-ing channel from here in S.E. Texas. We could never sail or fly but we're discussing a RV to hit the road, as we're both retired, home paid off, cars pd off. Be the best time to try it. Well, Cept for all that darn Covid Variant issue. Seems bumping into Step in a bar in Thailand and having her join the crew 12hrs later has turned into something pretty serious pretty quick. Time on the boat innThailand then straight to the US for glamping and now right onto the Dark Side.
I lived in Shreveport, Bossier for 7 yrs. after hurricane Katrina. Did a lot of gambling there. Born and raised in New Orleans, was a musician there back in the 70's and 80's. Can't wait to see the French quarter video. I live now in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Being from Louisiana, I can see the look of our "wet cold" temperatures that catch us by surprise in the gloomy times of winter down south. I agree with Bobby that a "resort" should have resort-like features. I would say that is a RV Park. Next time, I suggest checking out Chicot State Park which is located about 35 miles south of Alexandria and it features quite the wilderness side of things with great biking trails and plenty of fishing.

Welcome Back Goose !!! good to see him again ! There are vitamins to help with Goose's hips Chelated Zink if I remember correctly, you can find it in certain dog treats and cookies. It really helps to deal with arthritis in older dogs ( people too if you find human grade pills ) Steph has the perfect personality for your vlogs, both here and Sailing Doodles ! and she is very easy on the eyes , and I think you should keep her around for a long time here
Poor goose! It breaks my heart ❤️ to see him so slow and hard to get around! Far cry since he a maverick used to run around together! Stef looks like a keeper!❤️👍
Goose is getting so old. Sad! But enevitible. We have a 15 year old little dog and she’s still flying for now. Love all your videos on all your channels!

Hey Bobby, I am a long time Sailing Doodles viewer. This is the first Glamping Doodles episode I have seen, great to see Goose again! We have a senior Portugese Water Dog with bad back legs and on the advice of a friend we got her a harness from Ruffwear. This has made it so much easier getting her on and off the boat and up and down the stairs at home. I recommend you give it a try. Our Pup, Kelby, is so much more confident and it is much easier to get our 60lb girl around. Safe Travels!
