So the only motive force for the rotation is from the overhead extraction fan? Interesting... Presumably that's some fancy heat proof fan to be the exhaust duct?
it's actually something that happens a few times a year. usually where forest fires occur. they're not usually very strong, but there have been big ones seen.
Please.. check your monitor, Is it set to have a darker color? You can clearly see his bright shirt, and make out his head and his legs when walking away.
Fire requires three things. Heat source, fuel, and air. The air is being pulled out of the room by that fan and the fire is reaching up to consume it, thus...the flaming tornado.
Well, online pseudonyms really don't mean a whole lot. Anything anybody says on the internet should be taken with skepticism at best. More important than their chosen name is the content and manner in which they deliver their contributions to a conversation.

Spectacular. Burns slowly is that some kind of oil or diesel?
Awesome! Daniel
That is beautiful!!!! Very stable and well-defined probably the best homemade fire tornado I've seen!!! Keep up the good work.
@TuRn BattLe I'm guessing the wind thing was sucking up air and it was bringing the fire with it

Very well done!!!! Thumbs All The Way Up!!!!
hey.. i've seen your magic carpet performance on one of Iranian tv programs.. your art is full of feelings and innovation.. great Job!!!
Interesting how the fire sort of dies from the top down. It seems to be both energized and extinguished by the same force.
How exactly did he do this? Is it just sucking air in the hole at the top, and that naturally causes the vortex? Like water draining in a sink.
When in doubt, always assume larger--generally costs lots of money to build things smaller and lighter.
Looks sorta like slow-motion lightning... awesome.
is the liquid gasoline? or something else with flamable fumes.
Hmm, what could we use that thing for?
Awesome was it in your house
the last few inches are just smoke so don't freak out , no flame on the top of the fan
Is that a hoover bag?
how do you do that man?
The fire tornado itself? Or the equipment that generates said tornado
have you ever seen a rim that appears to be spinning backwards even though the car is moving forward?

you dont relise the size/scale till some one walks in from the right, at first i thought it was quite small lol
This looks like a good way to study tornadoes for usage in real world situations.
So amazing
Most Epic thing ever!
Is there anywhere that i can get the design to make my own?
Damn! That things operational!
Where do u find one of those "turbine" things?
No lair is complete without a Fire Tornado.
We have one of these at The Discovery Center! But it's just air... not fire.

BTW, Joe Friday never said, "Just the facts, ma'am".
Narnia?
The second one starting looked like those pictures of black holes feeding on stars
im glad we have just regular wind tornadoes imagine if a fire tornadoe came sweeping through a city

Ok you took that from FliteTest
Please check your eyes, He started the fire, then walked off the screen to the right. It was pitch black.
