I really loved how they brought back the music you fought him in kh1 and remade it for kh3. Ot put a smile on my face the first time I heard it, screw the hades cup in kh1 lol
I'm planning on making a series on my other channel that focuses on cinematic boss fights. The ones that blend the cutscene with actual gameplay..like this for example or Zelda bosses. This boss fight and Skoll will be among the first videos I think. Just the intensity, the musical score, the film techniques utilized during, AND the mechanics? Kingdom Hearts knows how to pull off boss fights.
The biggest issue I have with KH3 is that really after the Rock Titan, which was only the 2nd boss, they NEVER really utilized the I summon massive attractions on bosses ever again really. This was the boss they used to hype people up for KH3 at how awesome it is, and then it was never really used again. Every other boss was just a normal boss fight, and the attractions were just gimmicks after Rock Titan. I would have liked for there to be more bosses that used Disney attractions as part of a boss mechanic, rather than just something that can possibly pop up during a boss fight for free damage. Like if you're going to show off the Rock Titan boss fight as part of your hype for a game, you should have more than just the Rock Titan with that mechanic.
I think that Thunder Mountain is also used in the battle with the massive combined army of Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed near the end of the game, but yeah that's only twice it's used. Though admittedly it practically requires either a truly gigantic enemy or a massive open area to utilize.
yeah the game does try to have more large scale bosses, but you always just fight them in standard areas. the disney worlds never really reach this type of scope again, though i think the final fights in the graveyard are pretty sick
Yeah, the original character fights in this game are pretty good but the Disney World fights seemed to peak interms of scale with the titans. Closest came to Davy Jones ship battle but even then it doesn't get me on the edge of my seat compared to the titans.@@ctpp64
Sora: Now, Place your Mii-Landers on the Traptanium Portal! (places mii lander on portal for no reason) rock titan: _IT'S CRUSH HOUR_ Me: I wish he had a hammer.
Get the 1.5 and 2.5 remix editions if you have a PS4 it will get you up to scratch! If not then there’s a really good timeline video that explains the story for you in a good way!
Man and to think all this fuss so Master Xehanort can answer a simple question. (I have not played the game all the credit for this comment goes to electricdragon505)
It's a special Keyblade you can get if you pre-order the game. The Keyblade in this video, for example, is obtained when you pre-order on the PlayStation
Imo I think interms of Disney fights they actually peaked too early with the Titans, none of hte other fights truly feel as epic on scale, and interms of powerscaling Sora here story wise this world shouldve been held last as having defeated all four titans here leaping mountains and flying he feels more up to taking Xehanort head on now Vs. dealing with the villians of the other disney worlds.
Rock titan: "You tiny pebble! Me mighty MOUNTAIN!"
Defeat quote: "Maybe you... mighty mountain instead."
Every time I hear The Deep End kick in at the start of the fight, I'm on the verge of tears of happiness.

Love how cinematic these boss battles are
Same here.
And the best is that cause you are the one who avoids tge rocks, you feel even more in.
Got chills when the song transitions to the familiar titan fight song
Agree makes the fight more awesome and fun.
I love the transition from clear day to stormy night and the music gets more intense
Who else agrees that the thunder mountain moment was badass
I been working republic 🎭 for 10th year
“That one was as dumb as a rock.”
HA, good one, Donald! ^^
yeah
He just roasted em🤣

3:31 love it when the old music kicks in.
They managed to make the fight with the Rock Titan(which sucked in KH1)epic as hell.
I liked both of them. I think the first game's fight worked for that situation and this one worked better here.
Yeah,in KH1 you felt like fighting a statue but in KH3...
You felt like you’re fighting the “God of Rocks” or something, idk
Scaling a mountain while avoiding the Rock Titans attacks? Epic af

@@brandonjohnson633 this boss awfully reminds of Cronos from GoW III
Y is that I can't ues my items even as short cuts
Zeus VA from God of War also voices Zeus in this game
@@brandonjohnson633 just like Miles and peter
I just finished this boss fight. It's been a great game so far.
The story is nonsense.
Just beat that titan yesterday, but not with the Keyblade the guy equipped in the video, just the normal, OG one
djpookie2000 You need a high IQ to understand Kingdom Hearts.
Sadly, this was the absolute best and only good boss fight.
For me it's just decent, the storyline it's kinda messed up
Super video I'm looking forward to another video I'm glad I stumbled on such a good channel
Gotcha! LOOK OUT! gotcha! LOOK OUT! GOTCHA! lOok oUt! Go-GET HIM! LOOK OUT!
.........
GREATNESS ARRIVES
You were probably waiting to do these boss fight videos for a long time weren't you
Only about 14 years

... ok this is the only time In the game I didn’t hate mountain coster. It was actually cool in this fight (especially that dodge from sora)
Man I remember when this guy was a super boss, and now he's one of the first bosses in this game times have certainly changed.
3:31 ohshit
Incoming Giant Ursula Dragon Maleficent and the almighty Kurt Zisa flashbacks
"GET HIM" "YOU'RE GONNA LIKE THIS" lol Soras so happy to kill this rock.
Sparkly train coaster
Come on don't be shy add a reply to my comment of this video
After 8 months of waiting my friend someone has finally replied
After 5 years someone added a comment, train goes brrrrr
The Rock Titan is way larger than how I fought him in KH1
That's how big he and the other titans are supposed to be.
I like how they did the Rock Titan.
Kingdom hearts should be a good video game series to play

It would be cool if the titans talked like they do in the movie
They can talk?!
@@agenericguy1014 Yup
Some might disagree but the 1st game is definantly my favorite.
Deep End is back.
I thought that Goofy and Donald just ducked down in the seats. I never saw them jump over the hand too. DAYUM
He must be CRAZY standing right under that thing!! 🤯
Easy boss but the most epic battle in the game.
So he beat's him, With the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!!! Awesome.
0:03 Rock Titan my favorites kingdom hearts boss
I feel like the mountain coaster is the ultimate chess

I like how they telegraph the boss's attacks.
When the keyblade hits an enemy, there are triangle circle and square pop out. This animation reminds me of Squid Game 2021.
Sora: Now, Place your Mii-Landers on the Traptanium Portal!

This fight is certainly different but damn is this music awesome.
I'm glad he came back in his proper size.
Play Metal Gears "Rules of Nature" over this and you won't be disappointed

Gonna be honest, thye were lucky the titan was not as big as in the movie, he literally stomped a small town there.

feels like sora does way too much damage while they do too little

A two-headed rock monster?
What's the name of the music?
Yeah, I'd like to know too, but seems like it's not part of the ost. Maybe it'll get ripped from the files later on.
It's a rendition of The Deep End, the boss theme of Dragon Maleficent and Kurt Ziza from the first game.
@@troglodyte1378 oh I see! Thx a lot!
