Interesting Idea. You could certainly just set the cones on the lazy kate and it would work today. I could 3d print something that let the cones sit on the lazy kate without wobbling. I'll put something like that on my todo list.

Sorry, I don't have have an idea for the cone winder. There are some unknowns for me that just make such an estimate too unpredicable. For example if my beta testers make some suggestions that require big changes that could easily require new prototypes and add many months to the design. What I can say is it typically takes at least 6+ months from final design to get the product produced and I am still awhile from having the final design.
