Willy Willward yes if u die from a molotov the player gets only 100 or 300 dollars per kill but if they died to umps and smgs the enemy wouldve been given 600 dollars per kill so it was really smart they died all to molly on a full eco round
He basically uses the grenades to fake where he's going. For the first smoke, it makes the CT alive think that he's going short, hence why he spams the smoke then he throws the molotov and flash to make the CT think that he's already gone short therefore he rotates around and gets caught off-guard. Hope that explains it mate.
