Calcutta 263 with Yamaha 150s

Calcutta Marine International is thrilled to announce a new power option for our iconic Calcutta 263! We’ve outfitted the 263 with Yamaha 150 hp motors, featuring built-in steering, fly-by-wire connectivity, providing our customers with more versatility and cutting-edge technology.
Performance Highlights:
- After extensive weight studies and sea trials, the Yamaha 150s proved to be comparable in weight to the Honda BF150s, making them a perfect match for the Calcutta 263.
- The Yamaha 150s offer impressive dependability with only a slight reduction in fuel economy (about 1-2 tenths of a mile at best) but deliver excellent snap and power, even at 4,000 RPM with plenty of throttle left.
- Performance tests showed remarkable results:
- 3,000 RPMs: 20 mph, burning 8 gph, achieving 2.6 mpg.
- 4,000 RPMs: 30 mph, burning 12.7 gph, achieving 2.4 mpg.
- 5,000 RPMs: 40 mph, burning 21 gph, achieving 1.9 mpg.
- 6,000 RPMs: 49 mph, burning 37.8 gph, achieving 1.5 mpg.
- Testing included two adults, a full live well, and full fuel tanks.
