    meistens funktioniert das kleben nicht. Der Lautsprecher wird trotzdem noch knacken. Das Gitter von der Box bekommt man mit einem Fön ab. Einfach aufheizen und dann mit den Spitzen einer Nagelschere seitlich aufhebeln. Ohne Fön geht es nicht und man muss das Gitter entfernen um an die Lautsprecher Schrauben zu kommen. Diese Schritte werden leider in keinem Video beschrieben.

      Das kann ich so bestätigen. Das Bekleben mit einer neuen Sicke ist sehr mühsam und funktionierte in meinem Fall nicht, da der Lautsprecher danach immer noch knackt und Störgeräusche produziert.

    For everyone asking how to remove the grill use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the grill a little then put something that fit in the little holes of the grill and pull it will came out really easy with no damage

      This doesnt work for me. I've been spending hours trying to get it off. I've tried to push it out from the inside through the broken foam with a screwdriver and i've tried plieing something between but it only damages the metal circle around it.

    Good video... Question: how did you remove the speaker grill!?

    • @mikeg4727
      @mikeg4727 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The speaker grills are held in by a thermal glue, like from a hot glue gun. Warm it up and it softens and the grills ome out pretty easily. I used a hook pick tool that fitted in the grill holes and pulled.

    I know that this is an old video but still....
    ....The Player is already disassembled. In the future if you do a how to video, please show the real process. This is not that simple or easy to do and viewers will most certainly damage their equipment if they decide to tackle this job.
    1- There is one extra screw in the center of the battery compartment.
    2-To remove the grill use a hair drier to soften the glue, but you still have to pry the grill out.
    For this use cellphone/computer plastic tools. If you use a screw driver you will damage the plastic ring around the grill. The damage will only be aesthetic.
    I warn you right now, it will not pop out like the one in the video. You will have to pry it slowly and steady.
    3-Removing the old foam ring will not be that easy. He only shows a really tiny part of the time he probably used to remove it. Again, you will have to go slowly and steady. Use plastic tools if possible. Tweezers are must for this.

      The very reason why I don't choose jbl or harman kardon speakers anymore. Their surround foams just don't last long.

    Could you tell me please, how did you remove the bottom lid. I still haven't been able to get it out. remove the 10 metal screws and the cover still does not come loose. It seems that something is screwed inside. And in your video it doesn't show well how you get it.

      Did you center the voice coil? If it scratches when you push it, then you have to do it again until it doesnt
