Interesting question. What came first: the chicken or the egg? I don't think you know that. Where are you originally from? You won't know that either. You're just there. We know that we are made up of chemical elements. How can they suddenly come to life? We are made up of enormously complex connections. This is a process. You eat chicken, so does that make you chicken? There are as many bacteria in your body as there are cells. So this chemical factory that you, like me, experience is an illusion. We also don't know where the matter comes from. Our senses take in experiencing something that most of us see as reality. But what Rose is pointing to is that we are nothing more than matter observing itself. All kinds of electrical signals that seem to produce images and sounds. We don't know it, but we experience thinking, feeling, hunger, thirst, etc. If you zoom in you will only see vibrating atoms and molecules. There is no purpose or meaning. Of course you can make an explanation of a God who sits on a chair and has everything figured out. A kind of God with a hobby, who punishes and rewards.
