...and totally agree with the background vocals, maybe could be with the band.... it's about time we see better artists, less or no auto-tune, at least in the songs where they can display the real thing. Faouzia is amazing, if you want to see the mv of this, there is one, and I think there are some back ground vocals, even if she does them herself, they are mixed in, so the colour pallet is there. She had signed with at Atlantic just before she turned 18. She was the original writer, with input from a couple other songwriters. Definitely real singing. !!! I saw her in concert last fall. Tickets were only $25 USD. She toured with drummer, keyboard and bass and a track with backing vocals and some leads to give her places to breathe. But when she sang, it really seemed like her doing it live. The night I was there, some technical problem with the track / mic for Sting’s “Desert Rose”. So she sang it without a mic or track, just the pianist. And sang both the Arabic and English parts. Was it studio perfect? No, but it was really quite good and thrilled the 200 people in the audience. Tears of Gold is probably her best written song. “You Don’t Even Know Me” piano version may be her best performance. For a bit different flavor, with backing vocals, her cover of John Mayer’s “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” is less than 2 yrs old. She’s the backup vocal and piano on the track she’s singing lead too. I’m pretty sure it was live, but with a lot of echo. She got into the business through songwriting contests. Then was featured with French rapper Ninho, EDM duo Galantis and also David Guetta. During quarantine she sang on a Kelly Clarkson project. What is probably why John Legend agreed to be on Faouzia’s recording “Minefields”. There is a live version of “Minefields” from the Today Show that doesn’t get blocked as often as the official and beautiful music video. Live cam versions from her concerts can be a problem for reacting because phones tend to pick up the enthusiastic, but off key audience singing. I’ll be back for any other reactions you do of her. Faouzia is incredible and you should totally check out more of her music. But if you want harmony you should check out Little Mix they are a UK girl band and they are all incredible singers. I would suggest "Confetti" Acoustic there harmony's on that song are incredible. Also for Faouzia I would suggest her song "Minefields" ft. John Legend they have some great harmony's on that song.

They will have the back ground vocals, or even the one she did with John Legend, Minefields. She wrote it and her team said a guys voice would sound good with her so they tossed around some names and she asked if John Legend could do it and he did. It's great, they sound fantastic together.
