The Waterfall, the Old Lady, the French drunk & the American hero

February 2020. Heavy rain brought up the Saut du Doubs waterfall. That morning we woke up at 4am and got there as soon as we could. I knew how hard it was to get the right flow. In the last 3 years I had been there a couple times hoping to run that beats but it was either too low or too high. We met up with locals Thomas and Natasha would helped us with logistics, iphone filming and war tea. Rope safety was as solid as it gets despite the snowy conditions and not having socks on. The old lady went on a walk and told us all the exciting gossips. The french drunk was really drunk. So drunk he felt off the edge of the cliff. The american tourist jump to saved him. In Switzerland maybe he was a hero, but in France...no.
