Nevada has such an abundance of ghost towns, near ghosts, and mine camps. Wish I was still physically capable of jeeping to and exploring them. Thanks for sharing.

It sure does! We'd probably have a good time exploring together.

Your AWSOME !! You do an outstanding job showing everything, especially the Jeep coming & going , I like the shot from the stone rock building and the jeep rolling by, distance shots too, wondering how far you have to walk to get the camera shots , I like going places way out and off the beaten path, I collect pretty rocks time to time , I never take any artifacts left in places because Law & the simple fact I want others to enjoy everything as much as I do and you seem to be the same way , keep up the great videos , we always look forward to them always, and we like to try and fallow you , find the trails you take and the same path , we then look at your video see when you made the run then compare the condition from your video to what we've got in front of us at the time.. only every so often will sometimes a vandal will mess it up , when that happens we're sad , but we pick up there trash & haul it out...
    👍👌

My son and I have been out mineshafting and ghosttowning for many years. We have seen a LOT of places and watched many videos on YT. I really like how you did this one (will be watching your others as well). You quickly allowed your audience to see the great places, took some great shot/video and didn't drag things out.
May I suggest you let us know "IF" you will be sharing the names/locations in the future... personally, I hope you don't!!! Maybe, just maybe it will slow down the trashing of these treasures thereby allowing other generations the privilege to explore the history of times gone by.
It saddens me deeply to visit a great location and a year or two later bringing out another "guest" to enjoy it only to find some uncaring IDIOT has trashed it, burned it down, or robbed the place of the artifacts that makes places like these so wonderful to explore.
Thank you for a great video. Looking forward to many more.
Remember people... take only photos and leave only footprints/tire tracks, and if possible clean up any trash you may find!!!

I think you'll find we rarely mention any names and/or locations. We're just out having a good time.

Great video and narration. Thank you for not giving out the locations. Too many places are being destroyed because the locations are revealed.

    Made $500,000 back in 1800s
    Home cost $300 or so?
Imagine constructing a kiln for two years, and only using it for two years?
Maybe you think that kiln magically appeared, someone hauled them bricks, and did that work over years, nice rock foundation in the middle of nowhere.

Great video. I love the NV desert. As a native, I've explored many of the same places... I think. With all of the wonderful contextual information, you forgot the names of the ghost villages you visited.. Thank you again for the wonderful videos and great use of a drone :). Next time I land in Tonopah, I'll try and say hello. Cheers

Your Video is very nice. Would sure be nice if you told us EXACTLY WHERE you were at the locations you visited in Nevada.

If they said exactly where they were, those places would all get tagged up, vandalized and ruined.

I have been to some places, I went with my Dad. Because he had horse and buggy if we saw rocks on the road we through them of. Dad said they can break your TIRES..
The land was there to take its riches and then left to die. . There must have been people there. Were are they now. .

Can this run be tackled in February/Winter? Or does it get heavy snow pack?

    • @LostJeepsNevada
      @LostJeepsNevada  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Snow most likely. Late May is a better option.
