NBA Halftimeshow Dallas Mavericks - Viola Brand - Supergirl on Bike
This is the official video I received from the Dallas Mavericks after performing for the halftime March 9, 2022.

If the girl was black we'd all be wondering where she stole the bike....Ha Ha...It's why you see no black competitors in the Tour De France...the cops keep pulling them over and asking where they stole the bicycle...Ha Ha

I can't believe so many people just sat there and were not clapping. What this gal did was fantastic, she put on a great show.

I thought weiner dog races were fantastic.
I rode bikes competively for decades and i can tell you i never even came close myself or any of my buddies being anywhere near as good as her. For anyone who's not into bikes but wondering, she's performing freestyle on a fixed speed road bike setup for this. What shes doing is so extremely hard i cant begin to describe. Just to learn one of her tricks would take years of dedication and she does them all back to back without a single fault. Speechless.
Hard enough to do them tricks on a BMX with pegs, on a men's road frame much more flexibility required.
Those tires on a court.
I raced indoor bmx where we heated tires with a torch to make them gummy and used final net hair spray for maximum hookup run a 170 crank instead of a 180 crank to pedal out of turns a little quicker and run 43 tooth front sprocket instead of a 44 back in the day racing NPSA, on hardwood and concrete floors with little wooden jumps and little wooden berms lol I raced/worked for a bike shop back in the mid-70swhen the coolest thing that came out were Moto mags until tough wheels came out they were all coaster brakes but we take two fender washers two Teflon lock nuts and a spring and convert a coaster brake into a freewheel until 2 years later they started using free wheels on the tough wheels from the factoryback in the days of using a paper plate for a number plate air conditioning foam tubing for your top bar in your gooseneck and your crossbar and your handlebars an outdoor tracks actually had water hazards, broke about every frame they ever made jumping and eventually getting into freestyle road BMX and eventually started racing dirt bikes YZ 80s all the way up to maico 250s, even a YZ 100 I put an 80 wheel set on that look like an 80 with a lot of travel you can get a kit big bore 175cc jug and piston turn your 100 into a 175 and race it in 80 class start out in second gear cuz you had so much power and leave everybody in the dust anyway she got her inspiration from the Chinese acrobats that did about 85% of all her mad skills back in the mid-70s I seen on Ed Sullivan show when I was a kid before I even got into any of it" # Long live SE quad angles, r.i.p. scott
@@tomthomas9910 Indoor soccer, we used hairspray on our soles but it only worked for a 2 minutes. Oddly enough the worst was Laney HS in Wilmington NC. And yes, that Laney lol.

What a phenomenal, brilliant performance by Viola ... and shame on Dallas for their lukewarm appreciation. This was absolutely fantastic! Do people have any idea how incredibly difficult these stunts are? Amazing skill and a super presentation. I've seen many great halftime acts ... and this one is the best ever!
I’m glad she is finding good paying venues! Her talent is one of a kind!!! Her balance is so far off the charts it’s still hard to believe what I’m seeing!

It was halftime, you can see that half the seats are empty because people are stretching their legs and doing other things.

The crowd just moved there from out of state.
These halftime shows never go over that well. People are taking the opportunity to check their socials, get snacks, go to the bathroom, and stretch their legs, they tend to not care about what’s happening on court, no matter the talent being displayed
Well that’s because it’s an NBA game and only Woke Democrats still support that joke of a League!

Given enough time and effort, the average person could replicate this routine. It might take thousands of hours of practice, but if someone put their mind to it they could accomplish what the cyclist does in this video.
The average person, however, has no hope of competing with athletic feats many NBA players are capable of. MJ's free throw line dunks, Aaron Gordon's under-the-legs, over the mascot dunk. Hell, even shorter players in the league perform belief-defying acts of athleticism. You can find a fair amount of people who are 6'2 in the world, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who can posterize someone a foot taller than themselves like Ja Morant can.

In all my 68 years I have never seen anybody do what she does on a bike. To say I'm extremely impressed would be a gross understatement. She has to be the best in the world at what she did. She is definitely super!

You need to look up BMX flatland riders from the 80's. You will be blown away.

Mind blowing with no mistakes! All I could guess is maybe the crowd has seen her act a bunch of times, why are they not going crazy?, clapping with her?, standing ovation?, a sedative in the refreshments?
She makes everything look so easy, the crowd just can't understand or appreciate how difficult her tricks are!

I feel like this is a real phenomenon. I even feel it myself sometimes, like sometimes you see someone do a performance and it's just so foreign and mind-blowing that your brain can't really appreciate how crazy hard it is, and sometimes the performance being utterly flawless makes it harder to appreciate. And that can really detract from your appreciation of it. A little bit of knowledge of the subject matter goes a long way to being able to appreciate and be entertained by an impressive skill.

I don’t understand how a crowd of human beings bearing witness to such brilliance and beauty could be so emotionally dead and careless. They should be giving viola a standing ovation and an applause and rousing cheer at every marvelous miracle that this girl pulls off and they are just catatonic. What a pity. I’m cheering and clapping at home viola.

People from Dallas are like this for whatever reason. My uncle lived there for a while, attended several Mavs games, and one of the things that stuck with him most was the PA announcer. You don't notice it on TV, but the guy is loud, annoying, and has to work to get any chants going. He screams into the mic things like "DEFENSE!!!" and "LET'S GO MAVS!!!!" If he didn't, the crowd was pretty much dead.

I can only imagine with all the spectacles that those fans have witnessed on the day, this girl and her amazing tricks is probably the most incredible thing they've seen! For those who bothered to watch in any case.
The 'basketball stars' would seem mundane to me after watching her!

I always enjoy a true performer. She's a real pro. This was great stuff. Such an incredible display of talent. Most people watching probably don't appreciate the difficulty. Even landing a jump off the seat on to the hardwood is a feat in of it self. Bravo!

It's been a while since I've been impressed this was unbelievable I have never in my 60 plus years seen such an excellent exhibition on a bike.. I can't even imagine how much practice she put into her act... Just shows what you can do with dedication and hard work

Seems the crowd was cheering quite a lot, the microphones just weren't set up to capture that part for this video \ they wanted to keep the track loud. Remember that everything you hear at a performance like this depends on how the sound mixing guy wants it to sound and it's not how it actually sounds in the room

Insanely unbelievable. I sat here mind blown with my mouth literally open the entire video. That must've took a lot of hard work and dedication. The bike is an extension of you at this point. It looked as easy as walking for you.
Me, with the same bike, trying same stunts, crash bike in about 1 second. And the crowd was a major letdown. Very impressive and assuredly more tantalizing than the game itself.
She grew up with brothers and wouldn't be shown up.
Just a few years ago she was doing this around her neighborhood.
