  • In this segment Jason Bellchamber shows how to construct the interlace or triquetra version of Odin Triangle. 'Odins's Triangel' is the Swedish spelling. It is commonly called a Valknut. Use a hard pencil, black ink pen and eraser. The interlace is continuous and suggests eternity because the knot is never ending. This 8th century Viking design is likely influenced of the Celtic Triquetra interlace design from the Picts in NE Scotland.

    People need to some research on "Valknut" before commenting. Odin's Triangle is far more preferred. It is not as old as many may think.

    1. this is not celtic this is nordic (or germanic)
    2. this is the valknut not "odin's triangle"

    Odins's triangel is not the spelling.
    In swedish, it's simply "Valknut" or, ODENS triangel. In swedish odin is odEn.
    Btw, the symbol is norse, not celtic. Good video anyways!
