You're welcome! It was a challenge pulling together all the information for both videos this morning, and switching my mind between the two, but worth it I think!
Enjoying these updates very much. Not least because of the presentation (not sure of name, sorry) give in a normal, relaxed way without the exaggerated arm waving and speaking loudly, in bold capitals, that is currently favoured across all the media these days. Thank you so much! As for the race, well I'm loving it all - the front breakaway pair through the pack, and of course. Pips glorious slow boat ride.
Thanks for the updates. Can you imagine how frightening this kind of journey would have been 300 years ago? And I wonder what a sailor from 300 year ago would think of these crazy little boats and even crazier sailors.
We are all thrilled over the women participant's, 10. Justine Mettraux 12. Clarisse Cremer & 13. Samantha Davies who all three are in serious contention with the grueling and physically draining epic Vendee Globe. This emotional contest, being isolated and the 24 hour physical arduous tasks necessary to endure takes both courage and training.
In awe of all the sailors, they are truly amazing and brave. Thank you very much and warm regards from Germany.
Completely agree. They're all awesome!
Thank you once again for your various videos bringing us closer to the realities of this very demanding race. Best wishes to all sailors

Really great update Mark.
Enjoyed seeing the skips smiling faces as they’re doing what they love, however isolated they are!😆
There are so many battles within the race right now! I thinking the sailors are enjoying how close the racing is.

Thank you. The shouty style was never going to be me, so I had to stick to what I am! The name's Mark Jardine by the way!
@Sail-World Thanks Mark, a blessed relief to have somebody talk to me normally.

Go Ollie....you always look super chill!
Beautiful!
After 6300 miles they are 7/8 miles apart.... it looks like a match race all the way home
6,300 is approximately the distance left to sail. They've sailed nearly 18,000 miles!
Sorry misplaced info
Cold in "Biotherm?" Add some more bio I guess.
Did Yannick have problems? I missed some coverage!
Yes he did :-( www.vendeeglobe.org/en/article/damage-board-maitre-coq-v-code-zero-rendered-unusable
Where is pip????????
The mast broke, she is out of the race and on the way to Australia...
I'm posting Pip's updates on her slow boat to Melbourne as and when I get them, which isn't every day.
@@tomhermens7698 Running her own slow boating channel - best thing on YT 😁
