12:26 if anyone is still playing this now that Sons of The Forest is out, this enemy is actually very easy to deal with if you can isolate him away from other enemies. Have him follow you far away and then stay close to him and behind him at all times. He will stop trying to charge you and will foot stomp instead. from this point you can spear his butt and he's easy peasy.

idk man, im a relatively new player and i had a much easier time killing the big mutant things than a group of cannibals. i always run with full bone armor, and by the end of a fight with a relatively large group, i always have around 3-4 armor pieces missing. but when im facing the big ones, its easy to avoid em, set em on fire cuz theyre slow, and keep throwing spears till they fall over and die
I hate the normal Cannibals/Mutants the most, they are so agile and always dodge my attacks. I like the Armsy as my personal lumberjack though xD The Armsy is very vulnerable against the Chainsaw! Just hold it against his body and run around him in circles. He will die in less then 10 seconds.
I really like the base defence aspect of this game, I think there was a spot that the Dynamite Cannibal could fill (would require a nerf though lol). Also, Archer cannibals could have been a lot of fun to go up against as well
@@PotatoBoatInc that'd be sick, like using archers to screen and cover a siege team that tried to destroy your walls. I don't think we're getting all that but I hope they build off of the construction aspect that was (in my experience) people's favourite part about the forest in the upcoming game

I’m at the point with my friend looking for a cave randomly and all of a sudden 3 of those fat charger baby mutant things come out of nowhere and 2 virginias come out of nowhere with a bunch of cannibles and some chiefs edit: forgot those guys wearing other peoples skin get sooo many of them and it’s always night when the mutants come hate it
Ok I am on my 1st play through of the forest, and I met the 1st baby at an outdoor camp. After being so already terrified of every mob in the game, I just took not even a second hesitate and smacked it with an upgraded stick before it could do anything. Obviously it attracted alot more badies, but man it just seems the further I go into the game, I am either bored(because early material farming can be too much at times), excited after discovering a camp or beating a mob, or terrified yknow when the mobs gang up n go nuts.
Honestly, the fact that the gameplay is nonlinear can make it overwhelming in the beginning! If I was going to suggest a start, I’d suggest quickly gathering materials at the plane, building a small shelter, avoid attacking anything if you can help it, and then venturing out from there. Once you have a “home base”, it’s easier to know you have stuff stored, a place you can return to, and gives you some headway to make plans for expeditions!

Mutants are much easier than cannibals in my opinion. The key is to use incendiary arrows and keep running sideways when they charge at you to dodge their attacks, having a quiver is really handy so you don’t randomly run out of arrows, fire is key with killing them, P.S. when you run out of arrows use Molotovs and explosives. Trust me, Don’t use melee weapons with mutants especially with armsies, one hit and you’re gone especially if you don’t have armor, keeping your distance is really important with mutants (don’t use sticky explosives while cowman is running at you 💀)

Could you do a sub-series to this and do the stuff for Sons of the Forest, I hate the game macanics and it's super hard to play, but I love hearing your voice and reactions to these enemies, weapons, etc.
I know this is old but I have seen you look at old vids to comment but the white cannibals with the crosses and the flood lights in the night they are simply called painted cannibals and are easily the hardest base cannibals for the surface to deal with more so the later in the game you get because the normally are also holding any kinda weapon and that adds to their base dmg. Now the worm creature I would not say S tier more alike a simple A tier and the reason why is the worm actually does not do a lot of dmg to the player, I know this as I fought him at day 80 no armor on and took more hits then I woulda from a painted or cave cannibal, but what the worm actually does, is destroy bases as it does the most dmg to base building or decor and such, if you build it, the worm wrecks it, the reason why it was so is players would build on invincible island, mountain, tree, and beat based, so the dev's added the worm as the one size fits all counter, it is the only enemy that is confirmed to be able to swim, and it can fly so the mountains, water, or suspended odd bases are on the menu for the worm of terror

I once had two armsies coming to my base after I destroyed some cannibal effigies... that surprised me a lot 😭 And the 1v10 with cannibals right after as well, I died on day 11 😭

The big fat one. Me and a friend, we call them sumos. And we absolutely loathe them, two came, with a grey spider, and a horde of cannibals, and out base got leveled. xD
Honestly, the chieftains or the brute cannibals are the easiest, they are not eratic or zipping around, they are rather collected, which makes them an easier target. I find the skinnies and the normal canabals harder due to their speed, they refuse to take a beating like all obedient AIs should. Props to the EndNight devs for their AI, absolutely brilliant. I agree with everything else on the tier list. Legsies are terrifying. When fighting the enemies, sometimes the female cannibals are more difficult due to the psychological effect of the flashing. If modding is a thing, I may look for one that covers up the nudity.
I like this video. I have kill all of them, expect the dynamite cannibal wich if i have meet him and i didn't know what is his abilities i would die. Also the big worm mutant cannibal i have meet him me too only once and i think was when i have finish the game, the weaker version of the boos i have meet it enough times. Most hated and most op: the worm, duh 2nd place most OP: Blue armsy has the most damage 2nd place most hated: female tribal cannibal - They are the most aggressive members of their tribes and the fastest way to max out the aggression meter of her tribe is to kill her. If you don't leave her to die as last withness you will have scores of chieftains and molotov cannibals rolling up to your base in no time. Meanwhile, cannibal tribal Amber Turd will attack you even if your relationship with her tribe is ok and will keep wailing on you no matter what you do.
The cowman are the most annoying for me, I can handle a group of cannibals and a couple of armsies or Virginia's but these guys (cowmen) are a hassle to deal with. They knock me down everytime I try to take a shot at them, they have that powerful stomp that puts me into the ground and of course the bellyflop. These guys are just a pain to deal with, did I mention they sound disgusting?
The flying sausage came out at around day 50 i made it this far and still havent found my son lol just been exploring and definitely been avoiding the caves

honestly the white cannibals in caves are annoying as hell lmao and they always come in packs, I dont know if they are easy to beat or not because I just started a playthrough with my friend and we had such a hard time killing them Update: I have been playing this game for a 2 weeks now and killing mutants are so much easier then killing multiple cannibals. Armsy is the hardest mutant imo because of armsy being a tank and taking so long to die and when you kill the armsy most of your resources are depleted and can't fight anymore mutants. and mutant babies are easy to deal with but when they hit you, bru you dead as hell. hardest endgame boss is the worm cuz it just dodges all of your traps.
Did they make the game harder? Bc this playthrough I'm on normal but I've seen almost no deer in 15 days and zero normal enemies, only the super hard ones coming around
bro i was playing multiplayer we had just beaten the game my homie leaves to get the artifact (we were at our base) and the entire mutant god damn mutant gang roles up i hear mutants i go up the watchtower i see an armsie, a virginia, and a fucking cowman and im not kidding that fatass ran right through the deadfalls we had was about to run right into our base but from the tdamage he took from the deadfall he somehow died to the basic spikewall we put up for no reason, only reason i lived was cause of that spike wall (i was in our cabin that was on the side of a mountain which i was over the edge on in the cabin)
ik im 2 years late but the babies are not hard to kill and there is no guilt. i started playing the game and now im on day 10 and the babies are not the problem, the problem is that im agressive af and i saw the mutants bc i was killing the canibals so much. i was going home from a cave and saw an virginia and an armsie, never in my life am i exiting my unfinished crapy base ever again.
my friends calls me forest slayer because ı live in the most dangerous place in the map in hard survival and ı didnt died once (also when me and the bois was on the server fighting with the girl mutant ı beated her with a chainsaw and all the bois was dead or out of armor)
the worms come in at day 40, And I never seen it after then, well it might come in every 40 days idk.. but id put it Much lower, The cowman isnt hard to kill either, just have a tone of armor and health mix, the baby things are one shot LMAO easy to dodge to, The spider and armsy is are the worst in my opinion, they grey tall dudes are not a big deal at all, the now the last time I played with my friend or EX friend, He went afk and screwed me over, because EVERYONE CAME AFTER US LMAO FIRST WE ATTACKED A PATROL SQUAD THEN NEXT THING WE KNOW A WHOLE ARMY COMES FOR US :< and I manage to take out the army but then the backup comes in aka THE MUTANTS lmfao the armsy died 5 shot to the modern axe, and cowman almost died but then grey spider megee killed me.
@@PotatoBoatInc your dmg is based of your strength stat in the guide if you must know, the higher it is the more dmg you do, why its good to grind it up, where athleticism as far as ive seen = how much stamina you have and the cost of stamina usage from items, Lord Jack musta had a very high strength stat which caused him to 5shot
Tbh all the mutants were easy for me compared to the canibal hoards I just circle them with bows and spears For the girl i use flares which melt her The worm i use katana after letting him break down a bunch of trees lol

I hate those Leather face mutants, they are supper agressive and if there are more then 5 its really a big problem. Ussually when you are fighting cannibals and there is only 1 left he runs away but theese fuck never. They are also super fast and if you have no armor they kill you in 2-3 hits. Also i like Virginia just to jump around her and look between the legs :D I hate Cowman since they can charge even on top of the cliff.
ive searched through all layers of hell and still couldn't find where to download version 0.28 with the dynamite cannibal. i really want to see him in the game but i think the version is lost forever :(

Buddy, I'm scared of every enemy. I blew up a old gun cache and was too close, got flung, got up, and was instantly ambushed by 3 club cannibals 😭

honestly the white cannibals in caves are annoying as hell lmao and they always come in packs, I dont know if they are easy to beat or not because I just started a playthrough with my friend and we had such a hard time killing them
Update: I have been playing this game for a 2 weeks now and killing mutants are so much easier then killing multiple cannibals. Armsy is the hardest mutant imo because of armsy being a tank and taking so long to die and when you kill the armsy most of your resources are depleted and can't fight anymore mutants. and mutant babies are easy to deal with but when they hit you, bru you dead as hell. hardest endgame boss is the worm cuz it just dodges all of your traps.
The ones in the cave are really annoying because of sheer volume. They can be more fragile, but they always bring friends!

bro i was playing multiplayer we had just beaten the game my homie leaves to get the artifact (we were at our base) and the entire mutant god damn mutant gang roles up i hear mutants i go up the watchtower i see an armsie, a virginia, and a fucking cowman and im not kidding that fatass ran right through the deadfalls we had was about to run right into our base but from the tdamage he took from the deadfall he somehow died to the basic spikewall we put up for no reason, only reason i lived was cause of that spike wall (i was in our cabin that was on the side of a mountain which i was over the edge on in the cabin)
ik im 2 years late but the babies are not hard to kill and there is no guilt. i started playing the game and now im on day 10 and the babies are not the problem, the problem is that im agressive af and i saw the mutants bc i was killing the canibals so much. i was going home from a cave and saw an virginia and an armsie, never in my life am i exiting my unfinished crapy base ever again.

@@PotatoBoatInc your dmg is based of your strength stat in the guide if you must know, the higher it is the more dmg you do, why its good to grind it up, where athleticism as far as ive seen = how much stamina you have and the cost of stamina usage from items, Lord Jack musta had a very high strength stat which caused him to 5shot

I hate those Leather face mutants, they are supper agressive and if there are more then 5 its really a big problem. Ussually when you are fighting cannibals and there is only 1 left he runs away but theese fuck never. They are also super fast and if you have no armor they kill you in 2-3 hits. Also i like Virginia just to jump around her and look between the legs :D I hate Cowman since they can charge even on top of the cliff.
