I can't eat my morning oatmeal without a single packet of stevia (In the Raw brand). Previously I was using a sugar or Splenda packet. I always add blueberries, strawberries, banana slices, cinnamon, ground flax seeds, two walnuts, unsweetened soy milk, but still have to add the little extra boost of stevia.

I use Stevia in the Raw in my morning coffee, with a touch of almond coconut milk creamer.

Have you tried mashing a whole banana into the porridge? It makes it sweet enough

@@Babesinthewood97 I actually do that in a different way by cooking a few slices of banana added to the oats/water. It does sweeten it a bit and turns the slices to delicious mush. I simply like the extra sweetness and Stevia in the Raw doesn't use erythritol sweetener as an added filler found in most stevia products. But I may try your suggestion this morning, thanks for tip!

That's it! High heat meat preparation could be a cancer causer???? My husband passed at 57 after about a year of eating nothing but cooked meats. He lost over 80 pounds, but died from colon cancer! He ate a lot of barbequed meats!

It takes many years to develop cancer but he probably did enhance the cancer while attempting to be healthier, he died way too young,

Well I would surely like to know how to reduce aortic calcification. My tc has never been over 140. I haven't eaten meat for 40 years. I went vegan 15 years ago w wfpb sos free. I followed McDougall and esselstyn and Fuhrman. Due to Fuhrman I ate a handful of nuts everyday...my hbp progressed...my aortic calcification grew and I developed systemic atherosclerosis..I even developed afib and now have to be on eliquis. the only thing that has helped is stripping all fats from my diet. I wish I had NEVER heard the term healthy fat. So when I hear this phrase that lifestyle medicine solves these problems I'm afraid I would no longer put any money on that...because it sure didnt for me. I never cheated on my strict diet. I eat tons of potatoes and oats and salads.

Have you ever been tested for LipoProtein(a)? It's been known to cause aortic stenosis? They are working on a medication in San Diego, CA but it won't be out for awhile.
