+robertsasyannick I've seen all types of bands live. Rock, metal, hip hop, folk, jazz, you name them I've seen them. Massive Attack are the best band I've ever seen, no question. Absolutely extraordinary show.
The fact that they sampled the rhythm section on the original recording and are still able to go out and play it authentically with real live instruments sets them apart from virtually every other group that operates this way in the recording studio. Genuine musical talent and transparency on full display. I really hope to see them one day.
These 2 Guys have been Bangin' It for decades. The live shows at large gatherings are nothing but loud. Find them at a small venue. They will thank you as much or more, for being there, as you would for having experienced the work.
@@jamesrudland183 I saw them during the tour, but in Moscow and they played the same version live and it was absolutely amazing, came in totally unexpected
This brings me back to the best time of my life. Many of the people are no longer in my life but my love for them and that time will never diminish. A local pub and many nights that Changed my life. My all time favorite song. My all time favorite group. Thank you.
My life has changed 180 degrees. I used to be strong, abled, and independent. Now, I am not. This song that I have love for near 20 years has taken on a different meaning. I listen with different ears. It's still just as good, it just means something different. Longing for my youth & independence.. Steven Pettinga Indianapolis.
The bass line comes from a guy called Billy Cobham, playing with Miles Davis and then with the Mahavishnu Orchestra. According to AllMusic's reviewer, Cobham is "generally acclaimed as fusion's greatest drummer". drummer extraordinaire 'Stratus' is the music the line was taken from. ,check it out.
Fuck yeah! Meant to be seeing them in August in Bristol. Well looking forward to it.Probably guna be the second best live performance I've seen myself... Let's go...
Seen them live 3 times. First time: flew from ATL to Denver Co., to see them perform at the Filmore, in '06 Second time: on the same tour, later flew from ATL to L.A. to see them at the Hollywood Bowl Third time: saw them at the Fox theater in ATL, in 2010. They sound many times better live than on the record. Phenomenal; very tight musicianship.
The best on the best les meilleurs avent depeche modo sic hors du commun chapeau massive attack toutes mes félicitation C avec honneur que je m'engage avec vous tous''' 😜😜😜😜
Beautiful live rendition of Safe From Harm. Angelo Bruschini was a master of his craft with that guitar. Thank you and rest in piece x
I love how Massive Attack turns into a hard rock band when playing live!
A message to every one :
Go see them live when you get the chance !
It's an experience you will never forget !

Seen them in Naples two times. Unforgettable.

Not really, loads of bands, especially from their era, did and still do that… Nine Inch Nails, Prodigy…
That 3 minute power finish is fucking epic
That would have been unforgettable to witness live, the synchronisation is tight as fuck.

This truly is a Massive Attack to your senses! What a great piece of music AND theater!

I love their record albums, but I've seen them twice live and it's something completely different. They go absolutely wild, in the best possible way.

Rest in peace Angelo.

Bassgroove fantastico per 9 minuti... se non sono cadute le mani al bassista gli voglio stringere la mano!

They turned a pretty ordinary track into a masterpiece in the last 3 minutes with that finish, you can see how much they are getting into the jam.
You're right about the jam, but the Blue Lines version is anything but ordinary, imho
