Ulrezaj is my favorite commander! His playstyle is smooth, consistent and aggressive. He shines especially on the Dead Of Night map, staying in combat during the night.
Reduce energy descend is much better, the worship refund is good if you are playing top panel ability intensive. Combat units worship is better. Ascendant unit damage is more on macro focus play but you won't seem to notice the difference without this mastery. Ulrezaj phantom focuses on the real Ulrezaj or the finale. Top panel is of course if you use the top panel more often.

Noob question: how do we enter this game mode? I cannot find it in coop
select custom then select arcade, search for "Nexus Coop"
