To those being weirded out by Micolash's "moaning" I think he's just mocking a beast's howl because we are hunters and we do hunt beasts, so it's kind of a taunt?
So much foreshadowing with Micolash. He's probably the only character in the whole game that has any idea what the hell is actually happening. And he's stark raving mad as a result.
I finally got my dad who is a gamer of like nes and early PC days so he gets the whole dugeon crawler concept...but this game he called me at 2 am saying this game you cant just rush in you need P A T I E N C E and he just got pass ROM so we will see how he feels about micolash
This is one immersive boss fight. The music, the dialogue as you fight him, the foggy environment are all so god damn good. But it also is the most annoying fight for me, chasing him for a long time then killing you instantly with that shooting star thing.
I spent more time chasing him than actually fighting him. I probably spent 10 minutes running around just to find his second location. It was so annoying and I end up searching on google on how to find him. When I got to him, I just pulled out my ghirligig saw and bam he dead in 1 minute
We do have to appreciate how much stamina Micolash has tho, he probably spent everything to spec into that and arcane, also he has input control like a speedrunner.
Imagine his consciousness return to his mummified body. It will be a painful second death as he try to think but his brain already rotting and his dry heart no longer pumping blood. It's maybe only for a second or two but I bet it's not pleasant at all.
I somehow completely broke his fight by initiating the final phase from the other side of the gate which let me kill him without him being able to hit me
Yes, micolash died while dreaming but remained in the dream. When u kill him there u destroy his conciousness, killing him for good. I am sexually attracted to farm animals
I’m convinced this boss was made to JUST troll the player, he runs from you like usain bolt, it takes ages to finally get him, and chances are he’s gonna one shot you if you aren’t prepared at the very end
I haven't gotten to him yet, but I'm dreading this fight. I really hate it when enemies do the chickenshit thing and lead me on a merry chase all around instead of just staying in one room and fighting properly.

I watched Luke over on Outside Xtra play through the whole game (he got Micolash on his first attempt and managed to dodge that augur attacks and I think he killed him fast enough that I didn't see that cosmos shit, or I've forgotten about it if he did), which convinced me to snag a PS5 and start playing Bloodborne. So far I'm stuck on Ebrietas because I just cannot get a handle on her attacks, even with staying behind her or to her side. Worst boss so far for me except for the Bloody Crow bastard; ended up using the spin to win method on him and only attack when he put up the gun (until he didn't toward the end).
@@SolaScientia if you’re still on ebrietas, what worked for me was phantasm shelling and sticking to her rear like she was the dancer of the boreal valley, it’s best to try and get behind her no matter what, as it saves you a lot of trouble.
@@jackofastora8962 I don't have the arcane for that. I'm doing a mostly strength build with a bit of skill. I'm at like level 72 or 73 (stamina is 31, health is 30, strength is 30). I put a couple of levels into arcane, but I'd rather put the echoes toward health, stamina, strength, and a bit of skill. I usually do pretty well against her until she has somewhere between 1/4th and 1/3rd health. While the stupid space lasers get me, I also end up dying to that stupid tantrum flailing shit she does. The last fight went okay, because I summoned up Damian to help me. He was my key to Rom as well since he could draw off those smaller spiders for me. He did pretty well drawing Ebrietas' aggro for me and dealing a load of damage. I just screwed up my quickstep and didn't heal in time, so she got me. I had a lot of trouble with that whole area, so I can only summon him two more times. I have just 3 insight on me now and I want to keep 1 so the doll stays active. Those damn brainsuckers kept getting me even with me having a bolt gem on the saw cleaver. For comparison, I beat the Celestial Emissary in 1.5 minutes in probably the easiest boss fight of the game except for the Witch of Hemwick.
I didn’t expect it either but was cautious enough to dodge it the first time because I was expecting an attack. Like I said it’s late game boss, and considering the stuff before him it shouldn’t be that hard.
Shiiiit, it's the opposite for me. I probably would've had more patience with this fight if I didn't have to play tag with him & dodge his bitch ass bystanders that try to windmill me in the process!

ACB will kill any of them if more than 2 or 3 projectiles touch them. The ones who survived only took 1 or 2 projectiles while the rest suffered from 3 to 5. Also, all of them constantly being hit by AoEbri, lmao, do none of them know how to dodge or how to be patient?

Micolash is easy when you know how to cheese him. Just throw poison knives at him, when he drops down in the square book case room. He doesn't run away, andhe'll slowly get poisoned to death. Won't have to face his second pain in the ass phase where he can one shot you.
On a new playthrough of the game, I used Augur of Ebrietas twice on Micolash for faster backstabs. Landed 2 viscerals on him because of that. So yeah, gave him a taste of his own medicine.
Fun tip: right before he runs into the iron gated room toward the end, if you dont jump down to kill him, you can stand on the balcony above him and throw poison knives at him. He won't leave, and if you have enough an you have the patience, he'll die in a few minutes.
Oh, those perky blue thieves were a NIGHTMARE when I played the original & remake of Spyro 1, but they became easier to deal with once I got the hang of it. At least the thieves don’t jump through mirrors like Micolash does; that’s even more annoying lol
Jens Nandrup Nielsen He sometimes changes his paths randomly depending on how you chase him. He mostly still follows the main path that he always does.
so if you use the simons bow blade, you can cheese this entire bossfight, first stage, when hes down the hall, change to bow, charge shot, he will take damage, and return to where he was standing before damage taken, and if you don't move from that spot, he wont run second stage, when he runs INTO THE AREA TO DROP DOWN, do not go into that area as well, he will stay at the entrance, and just keep charge shooting him and he will go down easily without you takeing any damage or being on the reciving end of the 1shot ko
I just never bother fighting this guy legit after the first time. I always cheese him with a throwing knife and attack him through the gate. I can't deal with the Call Beyond, especially since on the difficulty I'm playing at now if I even get hit by one of the bolts I'm dead.
Well when you've never played a game before you don't typically know what attacks a boss can do right away. So you tend to get hit by some regardless of how easy they are to avoid

You can cheese him with poison knives, works up to NG+4 or somewhere around there.

His Call beyond can be basically Deflected by the loch sheild, so if you are having trouble (And have dlc) Than use the loch sheild to block that
