They are not that bad. It's all luck, which is what regularly opening Pokémon packs is. I bought one of these, and I happened to get a chase pack. It was XY base. I could tell because I got 5 packs, although the box only guarantees you 4. The 5th was therefore the chase pack. So that means any of the Sun and Moon are not chase, and usually their worth over $8 sooo.
Sounds like a good deal to me.
they're actually not terrible. i bought 3 and they all had a shining fates pack and i manged to pull skyla from one.

I loved these Walmart boxes during XY era when they gave you Flashfire and Roaring Skies even when you didn’t pull a vintage pack. These ones clearly don’t have the value to compensate not pulling vintage. Thank you for reviewing these!

wow, so these actually have a chance to have some older packs which is cool. I think this is better than a lot of stuff that could’ve happened with these boxes.

That’s how you get rich. Put Pokémon mystery boxes and sell them for $20-$30, advertise that you may get a rare booster pack, out of 1000 booster boxes only put 2 boxes with an old vintage weighed pack, the first one you have someone you know open the box on TH-cam and make it hype that they pulled a rare pack just for advertising, second you have some random dude pull it out of luck, the rest of the boxes just fill it with crap or extra weighed packs you got from opening legit booster boxes. Imagine, just rinse and repeat this method with new branding every once in a while! Just gave y’all the sauce.

Idea...buy all the same amount of mystery power boxes but before you open the packs...figure out which packs get favored most. Then do a massive opening at the end
The biggest issue I have found is the shrink is so thin that people push in the bottom to see whats in it.

Yeah, like you said, these mystery boxes aren't really mystery boxes when they're so repetitive. Lol but at least there are some pretty good booster packs in them.

I bought a tin at Walmart that had Evolving skies in it. The packs were opened and clearly resealed very well. No surprise there were zero hits. Never buying from Walmart again.
The best with these is keep them in your sealed collection and opening them up couple years later

I think that Chase packs are supposed to be mystery boxes with Old booster packs in them probably up to the EX era. That’s what I think.
I got a box just last night there were 5 packs in it... the fifth was a chase pack. It was an XY phantom forces pack.. not to bad
The price doesn't actually seem to be bad and there's a decent chance at a sun and moon pack. I'd consider it.
Craziest thing is my Walmart had 2 left and about 15 opened and empty boxes, I grabbed the last two and one had a platinum supreme victors pack
I bought 2 of these and solved the “what counts as a chase” mystery. One of my boxes had a 5th pack in it, XY Flashfire. Plus it had Burning Shadows, so assuming Burning Shadows isn’t a chase, just part of the normal pool.

Thank you for always showing us what's in these products. I personally think these used to be good back when vintage wasn't too expensive, but now they're just baiting us with the cover and there's no chance they have anything less than SM era.

I've been fortunate with these boxes in the past, I've pulled a Supreme Victors, Unseen Forces, and a Jungle. Havent seen these in stores anywhere near me in years though, but would always pick one up since my luck with these has been absurd

The hisuian electrode in the last pack of the video is an error card. The description of the move on the card was printed off center
Mystery boxes are fun when you don't know what your getting but these lineups weren't so bad
In the U.S do the booster packs go down in price for the older ones? Sword and shield packs still sell at £4 retail price.

Might not be the best pack pulls from these boxes but I’d go for them for the extra surprise anyway if only they were in my country!
They are a fun experience, but I've never seen anyone pull a chase pack from them. Makes me think it's just has that on it to get you to buy them.

I would probably buy one box but I won't buy another because the odds of pulling some good are oretty slim! Interesting idea though with those boxes possibly having really expense packs!

Opened 3 of these yesterday and pulled the Lugia V Alt Art!! Was insane! At least the packs inside are legit!

I've never been able to find these at my Walmart stores. It's for the best though, I'd rather get an ETB or booster bundle.

I’ll be honest, I opened 5 of these and had VERY good luck! I’ve always been hesitant with mystery boxes but got these for some reason and was very surprised haha. XY Flashfire hidden fates and shining fates evolving skies and silver tempest
The 2 boxes had Sun and moon! Pulled a full art Umbreon GX!
The other 2 were VERY modern lol
How have they not faced legal confrontations with this yet lol

I've pulled a diamond and pearl era French pack before from the Walgreens single pack mystery packs.
The best box I’ve had yet, is the Mewtwo Pokémon go trainer set. I got a ton of holos

I dont usually get these mystery boxes but I decided to pick one up from walmart the other day. Got a sun and moon team up pack as the "chase". So they have potential at least to have some good stuff.
Hey guys I want to tell everyone if you're checking for pokemon at any stores it may be hard to find. MJ Holdings (pokemon primary distributers) is through UPS, ups is going on a strike meaning MJ Holdings most likely won't be stocking stores. (I work at ups and I also haven't been seeing any pokemon)

Thanks for the info rev. Saw a wide hanger box like that - $29.99 for 5 packs. But packs shown were like base set and legendary collection. Tempting definitely but realistically I have a better chance of winning the lottery lol. Keep ‘em cpming!

I've watched a lot of mystery boxes of this type but never really saw a good pack, maybe guardians rising like you got but not more older..
At least they seem to have a nice variety of packs inside and not... Darkness Ablaze & Rebel Clash :P
The Meijer boxes a few years back I got a Fire Red Leaf Green pack. I think I bought 5/6 boxes and that was the real banger
