Uhm just to say, no hate tho I understand ur point of view, Obanai lived the most of his childchood in a prison and wasn't even able to have any social interaction or eat properly, his only "friend" was his snake... and even after all that the members of his own family cut his mouth not to make the demons upset. And after Obanai managed to escape, he felt a LOT guilty of having letting them down. I mean I dont really think we can compare character's backstory because every character has something different due to the backstory or the things upcoming and we can't compare trauma. I personnaly think that he wouldnt act like that knowing Giyuu backstory but he wouldnt feel sorry for him because most of demons slayer's backstory are alike to Giyuu's.
