I just saw this the other day on Turner Classic Movies. They were running a mini-marathon of Rod Taylor films. This one is excellent, although the appearance of John Banner (Sgt. Shultz on Hogan's Heroes) near the end as a German boarder guard surprised me. His character was very much like Sgt. Shultz (and he helps the heroes at the end of the picture). Sadly, in real life, all of his relatives who stayed in Vienna (while he escape to America) died in concentartion camps. STAY AWESOME!
this is a great movie i love it

Watch out for those stinking pop-up ads.
I'd love to see this film. Looks great, and it's based on a short story by Roald Dahl!
Thank you! I have seen it when I was a kid and thought it was one of the most exciting movies I had ever seen. Anybody has the scene of the salt?
