I thought I should let ya'll know that I just saw new collector cups! I just went to a Raising Cane's and they had Post Malone collector cups available 😆
@MangaCherryGirlOtaku welcome to the channel! Glad you enjoyed this episode The Last Ronin is definitely very sad at some points glad I'm not the only one it affected haha.
Absolutely Loved The Last Ronin comic, just reread it a few days ago before I read lost years, might be my first neca figures, and hey @noyougrowup just because your a full grown man doesn’t mean you can’t cry or show emotion lol we gotta shred those stupid stereotypes hammered into us that men can’t cry or show emotion(I’m a 34 year old man with a wife and son), hell I used to be like that but since I became a father it’s super easy to cry now lol..also love the podcast I have listened to every episode.
@irishknight6893 haha I'm not going to act like I never cry but I absolutely burry emotion as much as possible. You're not the first person that I've heard say having a kid has softened them up. I'm afraid if that day ever comes for me there's going to be years of build up in there haha. But seriously it is a great arc I'm really glad they kept it going I need to get caught up on lost years I've read the first couple issues but not the newest one.
@@noyougrowup69 yeah I get the trying to bury the emotion as much as possible, yeah if you have a kid the dam will break lol, yes I absolutely love The Last Ronin! Holy shit did you see all the tmnt neca previews at SDCC?! Never collected any of the Toon Tmnt but now that they are releasing Ultimate Turtles, I can get those, also in suit Casey Jones,Mirage Rat King, all the Last Ronin figures look amazing, best splinter ever! Huge Krang and last but certainly not least 4 pack Comic Accurate Usagi!! I don’t have any turtle necas yet but damn that is about to change I’m Gonna be broke for sure ha ha xD you should make a video after all the SDCC reveals are done.
Great episode, guys! I think Super7's TMNT wave 7 might have been pushed back again--the preorder update page now says May of 2024. Oof! I just want that damn Triceraton, man! 😆 Also: shout-out for Meijer! I'm a Midwesterner myself, west 'burbs of Chicago. But Brendan doesn't need to feel left out, because I lived in New Jersey when I was a kid in the early '90s, too. 😁 Jersey was the perfect place to spend my Turtlemania years--it was the golden age of malls, in the mall capital of the country!
@AutomaTom1939 glad you enjoyed it dude! I'm so pumped Meijer is carrying this stuff now still the only place I've seen the invisible man donny. If there's one thing I have a ton of nostalgia for, it's going to malls in the 90's. We have a dead mall in town that is very depressing so I have to go about an hour away to go to an actual thriving mall these days.
@@noyougrowup69 Nice! Yeah, all the Meijers around me don't seem to care much about their collector and toy sections anymore. They look kinda sad, and for a while had Marvel Legends from like four years ago. They're getting a little better--I saw the Playmates reissued Storage Shell TMNT there the other day! Oh, man! Same here. Going to malls and Toys R Us was my favorite thing to do back in the day. Sucks that it'll never be like that again! Though I live near Woodfield Mall, which is a bit of a tourist destination in this area, so it's definitely one of the busiest malls you can find today. But none of the stores I loved are still around, so it feels a bit hollow. Suncoast Video, Kay Bee, Sam Goody, WB and Disney Stores--nothing beat toy hunting in a mall in the '90s and early 2000's! A true golden age. 😁
@SadikiStGeorgeangemon44 we will definitely do an episode I've barely actually watched that show and everyone says it's the best series so I'm looking forward to it. Also, looks like Super7 is about to start making '03 figures.
It's interesting that you said you think they all died young because that's not at all the impression I got while reading the story, The Turtles traditionally meet Karai when they are 15-16 now enough time had to of passed for both the Shredder to die and for Karai to have what looks like an around 20 year old son before the Turtles, Splinter and Casey all die so the Turtles would have been in their mid 30's and Casey in his late 40's (Splinter I don't know how to calculate rat years lol but eh, 60 feels right) when Hiroto killed them all, Mikey then spent around 20 years in the mountains of Japan and returing to NY, so my "theory?" (I guess you would call it that) would make everyones ages at the "Beginning" of the story/when we first see the Ronin) Mikey/The Ronin = 50's. April Jones = Late 60's. Casey Marie Jones = Early 20's Oroku Hiroto = Early 40's Ages of characters who died, Leo, Donnie and Raph = Mid 30's Casey = Late 40's Splinter = Rat equivalent of 60 (iffy on that one) Which personally feels very correct for the story and timeline.
@briarshinn as someone in their mid 30's I definitely feel like that is dying extremely young haha. I fee like Casey and April would have to be a bit younger though just basing that on April's biological oven. I think they aged her too far in appearance for the ronin the more I think about it. Maybe she picked up smoking after all the deaths haha.
@@noyougrowup69 Yeah they did die young but at the same time there isn't really another way of saying what I was trying to say which is I don't think they died as teens/20's
@noyougrowup69 I could taste something, that's for sure. It was like someone took Robitussin and tried to make it into a milkshake, and added sweetener so it has that bad and kinda grainy aftertaste.
I thought I should let ya'll know that I just saw new collector cups!

@briarshinn dude we just had one built that's about to open! Best believe I'm getting one haha.
I'm New To Your Channel And I'm Already Loving It, Yeah I Cried A Bit Everytime I Read The Last Ronin And This Was A Very Cool Podcast.

Will y’all talk about the 03 series or have an 03 dedicated episode ? It’s kinda made somewhat of a resurgence and more people need to talk about it

The Grimace shake is horrible.
@_bitesizegeek could you taste the freshly squeezed Grimace?
@noyougrowup69 I could taste something, that's for sure. It was like someone took Robitussin and tried to make it into a milkshake, and added sweetener so it has that bad and kinda grainy aftertaste.
