I don't think they experience time differently. I think it's more of the fact that she has so much time that waking up early just seems like a chore. After all, what's the point of waking up early? And travels with Frieren who for the most part, doesn't understand human emotion and kind of just goes "😐" when Fern expresses any concern she has. Stark himself can be a handful considering he can be a crybaby and often cowardly/unmotivated unless he's pushed into doing something he prefers to avoid.

To be fair, the spell for identifying mimics does only have a 99% chance of success. If you are as old as Frieren is and explore as many dungeons as she does, she probably has found some rare grimoirs in chests that the spell identified as mimics. Besides, the mimics don't seem to actually be able to damage her, so falling for one isn't really a loss.
It's more like she bends reality itself to her will or something like that. And you cant defend against it because you literally can't visualize defending against it because you have no idea what actually happens. It's all about visualisation.
One detail to point out, there are times when the mimics tongue is pushed to the side when she gets gobbled up in the anime, but sometimes you don't see the tongue. That means there's a high chance Frieren was getting all that

Just saying "Oh, yeah, and Frieren just died to mimic later on". I mean, even her full powered doubleganger couldn't give her a scratch. *OR* For the quality of story IF they'd decide to make a bitter ending, it would've been probably the most heartbreaking soul wreckening thing ever seen. People would probably go rioting if smth happened to that granny.
She reminded me a little of Doctor Manhattan where they were both powerful yet detached from those around them. I think as the series progresses she grows more attached to Fern and Stark in particular and humanity in general.
