A couple things I would do differently is installing software that takes care of the title, price, description basically everything and the only thing you would need to do is message the buyer.

Awesome video and explanation! The only thing that never made sense to me is why would someone buy from a drop shipper for more expensive, than buying straight from the source for cheaper?
It comes down to convenience. People are used to shopping on eBay and Facebook Marketplace and don't want to shop anywhere else. It's the same reason people pay $2 for a can of soda from a vending machine when you can buy a case of soda from the supermarket and they end up costing $0.50 each. People don't want to shop around or learn how to use another website :-)
What he's not informing you about is you'll need the shipping option enabled for your account. You' may need to fund the product first before funds are released. So if you're thinking this is just like the old eBay, then you're misleading yourself. This is very similar to the eBay managed payment setup. I think once you make it over that barrier of it getting the shipping option enabled, then you're off to the races. Of course this is the free version that Paul is offering. Rest assured he's going to come up with a paid version to give you all of the advanced how to. @Paul, not trying to discredit you sir, just making observation of your strategy. Keep doing what you're doing it's obviously working for you. Best of luck in your endeavor everyone.
By the way I just want to warn others. Paul is saying that you can sell from anywhere in the world however he failed to mention )probably because he doesn’t know) that if you keep connecting with an IP outside of US your marketplace shipping and payments and sales tab will disappear one day. And if there are any pending payments you will never see them again.
Also FB market place is not a reliable platform to sell on you have they have a tone of glitches that could affect your success like being able to process orders and so on
Random question, since you’re changing the original walmart price from $79 to $100 when you posted it on fb , will ppl not going to find out about it? Like some ppl might look it up on walmart site and find the exact item for it’s original price $79 which is $20 less than what you were asking ok fb marketplace . I mean I myself do that often when buying on fb to male sure I don’t over pay something 🤔

@@topoftheline8751 Once you purchase the product on walmart once tracking is available it will be visible on the walmart tracking. just copy and paste it onto facebooks tracking. The time frame for tracking is different. if the product is shipping within 5-7 days you will get tracking within 3 business days so no worries

Hello Paul, Is it possible to enable shipping option from outside the US, but for the US marketplace? Don't know if a VPN is neccesary. I want to sell in the US but I live outside the US.
While I have many students who do live outside the USA and are able to dropship successfully, I'm based in the USA and I'm a citizen here so the course is coming from that perspective. I don't have enough insight to show exactly what to do if you're not in the same position as I am.

Hi I just found you and subscribed. I was hoping to ask a few questions. I live in the United States but I have physical products I think I could sell outside my area easier. I've seen the option to set your location for where you are selling, do I need a VPN to switch my address to the market I want to ship it to? Or if I put on shipping do they show it outside my area? Also same as dropshipping? I live in a market under a million, if I had a radius 200 miles away I'm probably looking at closer to 20 million. Should I use a different address for Facebook. How to list an item and how I find Facebook doesn't pay you until they get the item so you have to have the money to go buy it don't wait to get your money after they get it ?
That's easy to do. If you setup a Facebook Shop, you can actually link your Shopify store to the Shop. Then all of the products in your Shopify store will appear in your Shop and then in Marketplace

Hey Paul, curious how do you become tax exempt when buying direct from a retailer like Walmart. I know you can become tax exempt when buying from a wholesaler if you have a certificate of sales tax exemption, but I am not sure how you can be tax exempt if you buy direct from a retailer. How do customer pay is it they purchase the items and pay I don’t receive the money in my account until it get to them or how does it work can you please explain
It all goes through Facebook. After someone purchases an item from you on Facebook, you'll then need to use a credit card to purchase the item from your supplier. That's because FB doesn't release the money to you right away. Once the item is delivered to the customer, FB will release the funds to you shortly after. You can then use those funds to pay off the credit card and keep the rest as your profit!

He is not going to teach you how to enable shipping. I don’t see why would anyone buy his course. Selling on a marketplace is literally a straightforward process.

Facebook marketplace does not allow my listings to be edited and deleted in receipt of the error messages and despite that these functions are available in the drop down menu. How could I proceed in resolution of this matter?
Does Apps like Honey, where they search for the lowest price of an item, affect this form of business? Seems like Honey would find this the best product directly from Walmart and send the customer directly there.
Returns for Dropshipping are super simple. You just go to your supplier's website (like Walmart), tell me you want to return the item and they'll give you a prepaid return label. Walmart, Amazon and most of the big online stores dont ship with invoices. Amazon specifically instructs all their suppliers never to put invoices in their packages; Walmart follows suit. When's the last time you seen an invoice inside a box for something you ordered online? Trust me, you yourself bought several items from dropshippers without noticing over the years. I've sent thousands of packages from Amazon, Walmart and Home Depot; and I had only 1 complaint so far. The concept of dropshipping is hard and complex to understand for the regular person that 99% of buyers just move on from any questions after opening the Walmart package. Most people dont care or are thinking you are just reusing Amazon, Walmart and Home Depot boxes.

Hello Paul, Is it possible to enable shipping option from outside the US, but for the US marketplace? Don't know if a VPN is neccesary. I want to sell in the US but I live outside the US.
While I have many students who do live outside the USA and are able to dropship successfully, I'm based in the USA and I'm a citizen here so the course is coming from that perspective. I don't have enough insight to show exactly what to do if you're not in the same position as I am.

Hi I just found you and subscribed. I was hoping to ask a few questions. I live in the United States but I have physical products I think I could sell outside my area easier. I've seen the option to set your location for where you are selling, do I need a VPN to switch my address to the market I want to ship it to? Or if I put on shipping do they show it outside my area? Also same as dropshipping? I live in a market under a million, if I had a radius 200 miles away I'm probably looking at closer to 20 million. Should I use a different address for Facebook. I'm going to ask around and see what the consensus is, I'm so confused by how and where the algorithm shows your product. Thanks for reading.

How would you sell on FBMP from a shopify account. That’s were all my products are or how can I sell on FBMP from my online store, my website ?
That's easy to do. If you setup a Facebook Shop, you can actually link your Shopify store to the Shop. Then all of the products in your Shopify store will appear in your Shop and then in Marketplace

How do you do the payment? Is it automated somehow, or do you have to manually send bank account info and wait for the customer to send the payment, before you complete the order? Do they just pay blindly first trust you to send the item? Or is there a 3rd party escrow of sorts? Any helpful insight appreciated.
After the item is delivered they send the money to your bank account.
@@PaulJLipsky after it's delivered to them? have you had any issues with customers simply not paying? (for example, they already got the item, so they just cut contact, block you, and don't pay, etc etc). How you deal with them?

Hey Paul, curious how do you become tax exempt when buying direct from a retailer like Walmart. I know you can become tax exempt when buying from a wholesaler if you have a certificate of sales tax exemption, but I am not sure how you can be tax exempt if you buy direct from a retailer. It all goes through Facebook. After someone purchases an item from you on Facebook, you'll then need to use a credit card to purchase the item from your supplier. That's because FB doesn't release the money to you right away. Once the item is delivered to the customer, FB will release the funds to you shortly after. You can then use those funds to pay off the credit card and keep the rest as your profit!

He is not going to teach you how to enable shipping. I don’t see why would anyone buy his course. Selling on a marketplace is literally a straightforward process.

Facebook marketplace does not allow my listings to be edited and deleted in receipt of the error messages and despite that these functions are available in the drop down menu. How could I proceed in resolution of this matter?

What about returns and more product information.
Returns for Dropshipping are super simple. You just go to your supplier's website (like Walmart), tell me you want to return the item and they'll give you a prepaid return label. They will get this clue that we bought the item from Walmart and send it for them
Walmart, Amazon and most of the big online stores dont ship with invoices.
Amazon specifically instructs all their suppliers never to put invoices in their packages; Walmart follows suit.
When's the last time you seen an invoice inside a box for something you ordered online?
Trust me, you yourself bought several items from dropshippers without noticing over the years.
I've sent thousands of packages from Amazon, Walmart and Home Depot; and I had only 1 complaint so far.
The concept of dropshipping is hard and complex to understand for the regular person that 99% of buyers just move on from any questions after opening the Walmart package.
Most people dont care or are thinking you are just reusing Amazon, Walmart and Home Depot boxes.

They don't check though. I have sold over 50,000 products online. Out of all of those transactions, maybe 100 buyers have sent me a message asking me why their item came in a different box (I think it's actually much less than 100). Out of those 100 people, only about 50 followed up after I sent them an explanation and continued to complain about it.
