Fun Fact: If the Sun Vanished its entirely possible to utilize geothermal energy to survive. Granted it'd have to be a fraction of a fraction of the human population but you personally could survive.

@@randomblacktemplar738 Those are fish located in the deep sea, like the angler fish you see in Finding Nemo. You couldn't really farm those fish as they can only live at certain depths based on pressure and its far too deep for a human to reach without a submersible.
@@randomblacktemplar738 those kind of fish are called bioluminescent fish they have lived in parts of the water where there is little to no light so as they lived there for months or years or however long there fish body adapted to he dark and cause of that mutation or adaption there body bow glow in the dark.
I really love the fact that Rowley believes that his parents are really going to eat him if they run out of food. They take into account the character in the regular book, and I just love that fact!

@@mylastbraincell6522 it would be. No sun means that we aren't circling it anymore. This means Earth would essentially just shoot off into interstellar space. If we somehow didn't collide with anything we would all freeze to death because the planets temperature would drop to lethal levels. If somehow the previous 2 things didn't happen then we would starve to death because no sun for growing crops. Basically for the small amount of time we'd have remaining the entire planet would descend into chaos. There would be no one to keep the peace because most armies and police forces would lose most of its personnel. People would kill and steal until the entire planet dies.

I'm still wondering how Rowley was able to not only meet up with Greg but also able to gather a squad of neighbor kids. No sun means no light at all. Everything would be pitch black. Not only that, but also those kids will die from the cold, no sun also means no energy or heat, which means the whole planet's going to be colder than winter in Antarctica.
Hello! But, If you ever watched TSV series, the Aliens there had done something to the sun to block it entirely, the sun is still there but the light cant reach you, The Heat is still there but the light isnt

Its funny how nobody talks about what the sun disappearing would actually do. If it did, Earth would completely lose its orbit, we wouldn't have any more seasons, and a lot more would happen than what's shown. It's like they just treat the sun as a png in the sky that lights everything up, and don't attent the fact that the sun is a real star and it just popping out of existence would do a lot more than shown here, but monsters wouldn't appear out of nowhere. I know this is just fictional but I find it a bit weird
If this takes place in the right time then people in Alaska would think this is a regular day.
