The magnet is a toy called Rattlesnake Eggs. You will probably find more. Clear out the makeup and sell the box. Looks like a good one. Do you guys know Hairy Tornado?
Nice unit, definitely a jewelry lovers(Kayla) dream. Those Anvil cases are very nice, Good money if in good condition. JULIAN!!! you didn't know what the "razor" thingy was?? The magnet you tried was a rattlesnake egg, came in pairs, and you would throw them together for an eerie sound. Keep Hustlin'!!
Wowsers! What a find! God works in mysterious ways. You were meant to have this unit. God Omnipotent Loving Divine Lots of love from me and Molly moo on a beautiful day in Wales 🏴 xxx
That amber carnival glass deviled egg plate sells for $95! All of those were carnival glass! What a find! Some Indiana Hobnail goes for more and some less. Depending on the market. Every piece you found had the iridescent glow! 😊
You both remind me of my husband and I. We have been married 41 years but have known each other since 1st grade, he always has funny comments about things just like you. You both are sweet hearts and I hope this unit makes lots of money for you.
I know I've said this before but if there is mouse poop, you should wear a mask. A lot of things can be transmitted from mice, be safe. Love watching your expressions.
Now that you are dealing with so much jewelry you might want to get a metal and gem tester. You will be surprised how many things are gold or silver plated, and that the stones used in jewelry are more valuable than you think a lot of times . Also look up ANY piece that has a signature . There are bronze and brass and even plastic jewelry that is valuable because of signature or age of piece. Also keep your eyes open for vintage micro mosaic pieces. I hope I don’t sound like I’m being a know it all because everything I’ve mentioned I’ve literally learned in the last year and what a game changer. I had not been paying attention to anything that wasn’t gold or silver, or had a precious stone in it and I passed up so many things. I like you guys and I love how much you care about and mention your church so I just wanted to share the information in hopes to bless others the way I was blessed . congratulations on your finds. Thanks for sharing.
As a T1 diabetic I can relate to candy everywhere. The stay strong poster in the box tugged a few heart strings but this unit was definitely meant for you. The crucifix and the K necklace absolutely signs
"Love You to the Moon" so sweet Jules, I think you're a keeper! So happy for your finds, especially the Crucifix. You will probably get more for it as a piece of jewelry rather than just weight. Check for artist signature and Google a picture for more value info. The ER in the white velvet bag may be a diamond in white gold. Sometimes white gold is mistaken for sterling. That little oval magnet is a toy. They were sold in pairs and popular in the late 90's. It's always good to have a magnet and magnifying glass with you. So proud of you two, and your always thinking of sharing with the Church. Oh, the sale I mentioned at St. Frances in NMB is May 1-4, I believe. Double check dates and times. Doors will not be opened until prescribed times There is a jewelry room in, turn left, then right. I've never found anything valuable, but there is costume, some more reasonable that other. Then there's a big room down hall and right, but you may want to head on to the back yard. In fact, if you get a parking space in back, you can enter and start there. That may be where you find some things. It will be crowded! Cat
You can actually throw those fabric & leather Coach purses in the washing machine and air dry. I’ve done it many times, I just use a gentle or delicate cycle with no or very low spin cycle. The expression on your face with the urine whiff……priceless!
I carry that exact magnet with me for a decade, I knew it had had a match somewhere...Magnets are really handy & I thought it was cool it matched the one I actually carry.
When you first opened the door and showed the various brands that stood out, I thought it was one of those staged units you hear the storage companies set up. But within minutes, you started finishing goodies!! Yay!! This is fun!
You both inspired me so much! I’m a stay at home mom with twin 3 year olds and because of your shows, I bid and WON my first storage unit! It was small and manageable and so much fun! I spent $30 flipped nearly everything for a $1200 return! I know i got lucky but want to record my next one now 😊 Do you guys use a go pro or a camera? if so, which go pro or cam do you use? You guys have the best quality! Thank you for being my inspiration!
That magnet at 19 minutes is what they call a sizzler. They come in sets of 2, you toss them in the air near each other and they make a weird sound as they come together, almost like bacon sizzling. my daughters had several sets in different shapes.
That egg dish is epic. My girlfriend is selling everything in her thrift store and it’s thousands of square feet into the rafters is probably 25 feet and she has a green one that has a handle in the middle that comes up. It’s so cool.
I would have liked to see the rest of the things in the blue tote. Once the jewelry was found that's all we got see. Jewelry is not my favorite. I do understand you can make good money on it. I really enjoy your videos, and I love watching storage units. I like longer videos, thank you for taking us along.🐩🐩🐩🐩
"Razor blade thing" in jewelry box is a P38 military can opener. GREAT to have on your key chain if SHTF!!! You can get them at Army Navy Surplus. Also larger P51s are available for hands that need a little more leverage! I buy them as gifts for people.🤣💓💕🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Chicago cutlery is a good knife. I got a chefs knife for my 25th birthday in 83 by my parents. Who owned a restaurant at the time, and my dad was a chef when I was a kid actually before I was even born.
The 925 LA is a trademark that stands for the trademark that is used by L.A. GEM and Jewelry design, Inc. at Los Angeles. The mark sets the brand and its jewelry items apart from the rest. The mark on the jewelry piece indicates that the concerned manufacturing team is responsible for its design and style
FYI I bought a ring for 50 cents. Markings were worn off. I took it to a shop it scratch tested 14k. I then took it to a jeweler for repair and a fancy machine they had that reads all the metal content and it was 9k. low K can fool you. Even after repair (cracked band) "That aint too shabby"
Nice piece. You told me you got gold out of a unit, but didn’t say what it was exactly. Bub, that carnival glass will sell for a lot more than $5. I’ll have to email you some info on a local person that loves it and pays well for it.
for sure check the glass before you price it....especially carnival glass. I just a you tube video the other day i believe with the auction professor. He says glass is one of the highest money makers in the resell business.
I bought my daughter a purse and there was a silver c on the outside and the zipper pulls were silver with a c the lining had a coach print but we weren't sure if it was a true coach so I thought to ask you what you think
I wonder if you go through the paperwork before you trash it? Sometimes ppl hide money or forgot to take $ out. Also gift cards are sometimes forgotten and left in cards or envelopes.
That's GOLD in them there lockers !! The razor blade thing is actually called a P-38. It's a field can and bottle opener. If I had a car, a girl, and a beard..plus an extra 766 dollars layin around people might get me and you confused. I couldn't handle being a celebrity though, so I'll pass on all that for sanity's sake. Great locker !!😁
You need to melt those bath bombs!! They could be the ones with real silver rings in them and some codes can win more jewelry when entered online. I use to buy them myself until I got over it lol
Will you be doing another video of this unit until you are done? Beautiful 10k crucifix that has to be worth more. Geesh a lot of 925 that is amazing. What a wonderful unit congratulations 🎊🎉🎈 🥳 happy days 💃💃💃💃🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻
I know you weren’t prepared but I take a magnet with and I try jewelry. I know there’s other ways of testing jewelry that are probably better but that’s what I start with and then when it doesn’t stick, I put it in a pile and now I have to go to my jeweler and see if she’ll test it for me. My sister-in-law left and went back to her hometown five hours away and left a 4 foot or more full of jewelry. A lot of it was junk but a lot of it was good stuff that was just broken.
Save your back from all that bending and stooping. Take a small folding table with you when you do these then you can go through the stuff without constantly having to be hunched over. Also take a clean empty tote or two so as you go through stuff you can toss the goodies in them.
Hello, Bobby from NJ. I just started watching your videos. Great job! I watched the one that read I didn't know this was a Goodwill rule. I have a question for you? Do you guys sell online and at Flea Markets? Or have you ever sold at Flea Markets in the past?
I know this is an old video but just for the heck of it in the bottom of the jewelry box, you said that thing there was a razor blade that was a military can opener not a razor blade lol
Ok Kaylas surprise....."Oh Yeah" voices here and especially on Goodwill videos is so adorable and yet funny at same time. Very unique response
Thanks so much for watching!!!
The magnet is a toy called Rattlesnake Eggs. You will probably find more.
Clear out the makeup and sell the box. Looks like a good one.

Empty the make up box , it will sell!!

The "razor blade thing" @ 17:53 is a P38 GI can opener.
A classic!
I never served in the military but I work with enough of them that even I knew what it was.

The razor blade thing in the jewellery box is a can opener, often used by the military in the field.
That "razor blade thing" is a P-38 military can opener.
Your clear pieces are irredescent carnival is usually purple, orange, blue, red and very rarely clear. I love your excitement for old things.
17:53 not a razorblade thing, it is a military issued ration can opener US P-38. I still have one from 55 years ago in the US Navy.
You both remind me of my husband and I. We have been married 41 years but have known each other since 1st grade, he always has funny comments about things just like you. You both are sweet hearts and I hope this unit makes lots of money for you.

The look on your face when you found the crucifix was priceless! Can't wait to see the rest of the unit.
It was crazy - I’ve never seen a piece of gold that big lol
@@beardedthriftmachineonly on TV or the internet has been my experience.

The necklace in the drawer of the jewelry box looks like hematite. Nice chunk of gold! Good stuff.

Hey guys great buy!! The magnet that you used for the cross is a kids toy there should be 2 and you throw them in the air and they make noise.
That magnet at 19 minutes is what they call a sizzler. They come in sets of 2, you toss them in the air near each other and they make a weird sound as they come together, almost like bacon sizzling. my daughters had several sets in different shapes.
WOOHOO‼️ That carnival egg dish is money! Vintage art glass is $$ did you hit gold? Thanks for bringing us along, so much fun! Happy hunting👍💯
Congratulations on an awesome unit. You guys deserve good fortune as your hard working, honest & generous people. Good luck ❤ from Australia

Oh my God, did you ever score!!! Good things happened to good people & you both really disturb it.❤
You gotta get a O-light flashlight. They have a strong magnet on the butt end for charging and, in your case, checking gold finds.
Dawn dish soap & water will clean that satin Coach bag up like new. Great storage unit buy!
Chicago cutlery is a good knife. I got a chefs knife for my 25th birthday in 83 by my parents. Who owned a restaurant at the time, and my dad was a chef when I was a kid actually before I was even born.

It's been fun so far, I hope the cross turns out to be gold! Good luck.
Nice find on the gold. I was worried about the cost of the unit but you made out pretty good after all.

In the jewelry box at the storage unit , brown that wasn't a razor blade it was a military can opener.
The one carnival glass dish is for deviled eggs with the cups around the edges.
Has the Lug Can Can sold yet? If not let me know your asking price, please. As always thank you for the content and sharing your adventures.

Hey that would be great !
I hope someone before me told you the egg plate and the other carnival glass plates should go between 20-30$ at your booth.
the "raxor blade" thing is a P38, military issue can opener.
I always think that you undervalue everything, even adding 5 bucks to everything will increase your profits, and people will pay.
for sure check the glass before you price it....especially carnival glass. I just a you tube video the other day i believe with the auction professor. He says glass is one of the highest money makers in the resell business.
Why would people keep candy, old papers etc and pay to store it…CRAZY! Glad you found the gold piece to pay for the unit. Always enjoy your videos. 😅
SCORE! You got it on this one and hope the next one too!😍
Woodwick outlet is south of Chatham Va in Blairs Va on Rt. 29. Worth the time to stop!
The magnet should have another one just like it. When they are put together they make a weird sound.
FANTASTIC! So happy for you'll
I bought my daughter a purse and there was a silver c on the outside and the zipper pulls were silver with a c the lining had a coach print but we weren't sure if it was a true coach so I thought to ask you what you think
You’d have to send Kayla a picture of that im not too good at coach
I wonder if you go through the paperwork before you trash it? Sometimes ppl hide money or forgot to take $ out. Also gift cards are sometimes forgotten and left in cards or envelopes.
I'm interested in some of the carnival glass.
Nice finds! Can’t wait for next video.

That magnet goes inside cows stomach to catch anything that they swallow 👍😄
All I can say is.....WOW❤❤

First time watching! I like you guys and subscribed.😊
You need to be set up like Locker Nuts - table , trash cans, dolley when going through lockers to stop handling things twice
we usually dont show us handling it twice .....
17:55 p38 to open cans during the war.
Yeah, you almost got your money back just on that gold. Congrats!
I know this is an old video but just for the heck of it in the bottom of the jewelry box, you said that thing there was a razor blade that was a military can opener not a razor blade lol
Good funds so far😊
Hey Kayla, I would use that bath bomb either! LOL😂
Is that the match to the one in that other box
would have liked to seen what else was in the locker, will there be a part 2?
I'm no expert, but I think the first carnival glass you showed would be more like 25 each rather than 5 each
the razor blade thing is an army can opener. a p-38 i think
Hi. If you haven't sold the coach bag..I would like to purchase it. Thanks..electra
Damn, did you get bit in the arm? Hope you're alright Julian!
