thats me on all those stories. crazy lady digging a hole? shot. guy following me asking for directions? shot. and so on wait a minute maybe i'm the bad guy who'll be on a mr ballen story in the future
It's in Wakiakum in Washington state. Not a recommended hike for inexperienced hikers. Every now and then people have to be rescued from there. Look it up.
The Ghost Town livestream story at the end show just how natural of a storyteller Mr Ballen is. The regular uploads have many cuts and edits to get the best take for flow, but this livestream he just floes naturally.
14:15 That's the most horror movie reaction ever 😂 "I mean sure there's an obviously a mentally deranged woman circling our camp who's obviously just waiting for us to let our guard down, i think we can go back to sleep now"
Great story, but as an Arizona native and someone who has been to the Superstitions many times, there is no woods. It's high desert. Low shrubs, Saguaro, but zero pines. Not to mention, you can see a good distance at night since there are no tall trees nearby. The myths about the Superstitions are well known, though. Many have disappeared.
@@michelleraeuy124 Yes I have, I've also been to the Superstitions (could see them from where I grew up). There is no forest in the Superstitions, they are over 100 miles from Flagstaff.
LOVED IT! I haven't been on YT creepy stuff for a while (sorry but my mentally-ill daughter has had MANY USA mentally-ill friends try to get help from Better Help & were turned away & she & I used to watch your stuff together. I know the BH problems aren't on you but she's pissed you're still sponsored by, & especially feels that you are promoting them when they are of no use to a vast majority of people that just need help. But you are an extremely talented storyteller & I love your content ... from Canada! I know you have several sponsors & not everyone is going to agree with all of them -- thank you for great content!
I know everyone loved the 3-5 stories per week... but... 1 the content is still great... 2 perhaps Johns recovery has progressed so that hes not sitting reading/researching/recording so much....? Thats such a bonus for John to increase activity...? 3 his children are getting older so will need more physical time with daddy for kindy/school/sports etc.... (not sure of their ages)... 4 He may well be back at some "regular job" and record his vids at weekends? We have been very spoilt with Mr Ballens stotytelling, yet, as we all know, life constantly changes and patterns of life change... so he may well be a lot physically busier... and hes going on tour too... I enjoy, and look foward to his regular casts... always ready to hear his latest... Take care,...🙏
Our son was murdered on April 5th... it's been one of the worst tragedies we've ever experienced. Being able to hear you tell stories helps me briefly escape the harsh reality we are dealing with. I used to watch these with our son at times, which helps bring some good memories in. Thanks for the bonus episode man.
i’m so sorry 😞 it’s a special gift to be able to channel those good memories of someone you’ve lost and evoke those emotions by using something in your everyday life. a song on the radio does that for me and i turn it on whenever i’m missing them, and i’m glad you’ve found something similar by listening to mr ballen stories ❤️🩹
Apparently the digging woman is still in the forests of Maine. Campers say they catch her peeking at them from behind trees before she disappears, only to be caught peeking at them again. At night it’s said she unzips people’s tents just enough to peek at them through the hole and watch them sleep.
Because we are all mates sitting on a huge campsite every sunday, listening to a former seals stories. All that´s missing are some marshmallows, a can of beer and stick bread.. ☺
@@johanna77777 bc it rarely happens and when it does you can bet your last bullet a predator of some type is within a stones throw away rather you see or hear it or not
Things that MrBallen’s Camping Storys taught me: 1. Bring 1-2 guns and enough ammo 2. Never camp alone 3. Tell your family / friends 4. Take a GPS tracker so family members know where you are 5. The clearing for campsite should be at least couple hundred feet in diameter 6. (Optional) take nightvision / thermal goggles with you
Most of these stories seem like they could be explained by homeless, insane, or methed up people living in the woods. It's way more common than you think. I found a homeless guy's tent on my land years ago and I am 20 miles from town. Called the sheriff and they found the fella fishing in a creek nearby. Long story short, I ended up hiring the guy to help me for the summer. His brother ended up getting him a job driving a semi in another state later that year. Still talk to him on FB once in awhile. Stay cool, Bill. Glad you made it out :)
I think it’s the “freshwater” as well lol. I ate a mushroom I found once and I heard colors for hours. 😂 I’m sure if I didn’t know it was the mushroom causing it, continued eating of the mushroom would also make me curl up in the fetal position like the doctors wife! Plus doctors wife… that alone says unlimited prescriptions of god knows what for years
@@THambrough Hey mate. I have indeed. In fact, I have thru hiked the entirety of my country ( Italy) last year and it took me 13 months ! I have never had a single accident or weird interaction with people. The only issues I had were with wild boars or occasionally the land owner kicking me out of the property. I see that, in the US there are TONS of creepy camping stories, especially regarding the Appalachian mountains. I don't know whether it is folklore, or maybe it's just the fact that Americans love spooky tales. But I personally don't believe these stories. Again, what proof do we have ? None, these are just some Reddit posts from random people. I LOVE hearing Mr Ballen narrating the stories but I think they are BS. Respectfully, of course. Have a nice day !
@@alessandropizzocaro7506Maybe the woods in Italy just aren't as weird? Cursed native lands and all that, throw in some methed up hillbillies. Serious statement here, I think you should hike across the entire world and document it, describing each place and their differences.
@@alessandropizzocaro7506 You’re from Italy, not America. This explains everything. Nobody in Italy goes woodland hiking..😂 There’s alot more strange people in the USA, for sure. This is due to drugs. In Italy, drug users are on the curb, begging for pennies, or they’re strealing Vespa’s. Or they’re abducting tourists.
Anyone who knows anything about the woods or camping knows that even if it's super quiet, you're still going to notice and hear things, and the only time that it gets dead quiet where things are afraid to make noise, are when predators are around and big ones.
@@mbb-gl7tv the fact it scampers off afraid of the lord's light very much gives me walker vibes. If that campfire ash was black, not white... Even more so
31:51 I had a fairly similar experience back when I was camping in the sticks of southern New Jersey. For a some context I was 18, freshly homeless and a severe drug addict. (I had been shooting heroin since I was 16) sometimes I would just go into the woods to get away. It made it easier to curve the craving because some days I would wake up and decide “today I’m gonna get clean” *spoiler alert* I didn’t get sober until I was 25 and luckily have managed to put together 3 years sober. Anyway I had basically dropped out of HS in my senior year because again, I was homeless now and just didn’t have the desire to wake up in the woods and still go to school. I had been camping deep deep in the sticks and I hadn’t seen anybody for days. I was roughly 120 pounds so I didn’t need much food. I had some “cup of soup”, bread and a fat jar of peanut butter that my mom gave me when she kicked me out. She said “peanut butter has a lot of protein. It’ll keep you alive” 😂 I had a tent, sleeping bag, flashlights, a fire set up and I had quite a couple phones that I had acquired but I obviously didn’t have the funds to pay for service. I just had them for entertainment purposes. Downloaded movies, videos, music, games, etc. just to pass time. I also had two 5,000 mah power banks and one 2,500 power bank that anytime I could, would get charged. I had a 10” survival knife and I had a handgun with 8 rounds. Needless to say I wasn’t too worried about company, that said I’d be lying if I said my heart didn’t skip a beat when I heard somebody talking to themselves not far off from my campsite. My first thought was to quickly put my fire out and hide, but the dude sounded so close that I figured it was better if I had light to see 1 where he is, 2 what shape he was in and most importantly 3, if he was carrying anything. Now I can’t stress enough how unsettling it is to just hear somebody, that I presumed to be out of their mind because they were having a complete conversation with themselves but they also just started talking out loud because again, they were close af, and I definitely would’ve heard him much earlier had he been talking to himself. Now I did have a headphone on in the beginning but I definitely would’ve heard him. He wasn’t being quiet. The voice got louder and louder for about 10 or so seconds and I finally got a look at the dude. He was much older than me, not much heavier than me and he didn’t have anything as far as a backpack, gear, wasn’t carrying anything. Obviously I can’t see into his pockets but the first reaction was, “okay, he looks harmless.” When he was finally in view it was so weird. I was hyper fixated on him and he never looked at me. Mind you I have a whole ass campsite. The only reason I could even see the guy was because of the glow from my fire but he didn’t directly acknowledge me or the campsite. I did forget to mention that by this time he was just mumbling now. So in a way, I think that was his way of acknowledging my presence, in a weird way. I said “Yo”, no reaction. “YO”, nothing. “Yo, are you good?”, no reaction. “Cool, good talk.” Looks at me ☠️ and begins walking towards me. At that point in my life I really didn’t understand the look he gave me, but years later, “ripping and running” as we say; homelessness and the crowd that I had migrated towards, I had seen that look dozens of times now. The look that somebody has when “nobody is home”. This guy had issues. He walks up to about 3-6 feet from me, the other side of the fire and sits on the ground, knees up/ holding them and begins talking to me (I think) because he addressed me as “Ricky”.(Ricky is not my name). I never told him that I wasn’t Ricky and at this point I was just watching him, gauging the situation. He asked where I had been and if I “even got the corn”. That I told him I was going to be back in 15 minutes and that I took his pills, because he hadn’t been able to find them after I left. I didn’t try to convince him who I was, or wasn’t. I just said “I got lost”. At this point I couldn’t tell if he was just fucking with me or if he was legitimately insane. I asked him, where he had been staying and he said “at the campground” I asked where it was and he told me “let’s go, you got the corn right? I’m making shepherds pie.” I told him I already ate and he got pretty pissed off. He got up, so I got up; thinking he was gonna swing but he just yelled shit that to this day, made zero sense and he turned around and left. About 2 hours later (roughly 11pm) I woke up to him basically patrolling my site, talking to himself. I yelled at him while getting out of the tent and he just said “give me my pills”. That’s when I told him, “I’m not Ricky, I’ve never seen you before today and I’m going to fuck you up if you don’t leave my campsite.” He just stared at me with that deadpan “nobodies home look”. Almost like he wasn’t looking at me but passed me. It actually made me turn around because I thought maybe there really was a buddy of his out in these woods. He didn’t say anything and he didn’t break eye contact for what felt like minutes. He turned around and left. I didn’t go back to sleep but I didn’t leave either. Just sat on the log that was next to the fire and played a game on my phone, making sure it was on silent so I was ready if he returned; which he did sometime after 3am. This time, I heard his approach and shined a flashlight in the direction. Which he basically walked into and he just stared and said “give me my fucking shit”. I was pretty pissed off at this point and I asked “Buddy, do you kill people? Are you a serial killer?” (Wasn’t genuinely asking, it was the set up) Thankful the crazy bastard says, “Yes, im a serial killer.” I pulled my gun out, tried my hardest to sound confident and convincing and said “Heey, me too! Let’s see who’s better at it?” Eyes went wide, he screamed; then ran tf out of there. It sounded like he tripped over his feet a right after he bounced but I couldn’t see him. All I could hear was his running thru the brush and trees. I waited about 5 minutes after the last sound I heard of him, packed my shit up, called my friend that I went to school with and he told me I could stay on his couch a few nights. I never went back to those woods. I played it cool but that’s when I finally realized that I didn’t want to die. It’s crazy how that can happen. I had told myself and anybody I knew since I started shooting dope that I wasn’t afraid of death. That I was miserable and if it happens it happens. I genuinely believed that up until that 3rd time I saw the dude. I only stayed in jersey another few weeks then I left and moved to Florida. Lasted 2 years then bounced to LA. Haven’t actually camped since 😂 Anyway sorry for the long story. The “bell canyon” dude just reminded me of that. 🫡
It always amazes me that there are people who will willfully go into the American wilderness without a firearm. A knife is little more than a pointy stick when you really need to defend yourself against an animal, or worse, a malicious person.
Possibly my favorite part of attending your live show in Austin was hearing a fan call out “Do you know how to get to Bell’s Canyon??” And the subsequent laughter from the audience… I was like, yes, I am among my people. 😂❤️
The father-son hunting story, when I tell you no hunter worth their gear would ever stay in that forest. One of the first things I was taught as a child when learning to hunt and hike, was to listen for danger. And silence in a forest, is danger. A forest getting a little quiet when you first go in is normal, it staying quiet as you go through is not. Birds, insects, and small mammals constantly make noise. The only time they all get quiet is if big trouble is near. If you hear complete silence you should be high tailing it out of there. Keep your weapon ready and just keep going until you're out.
I heard "Camping Stories" and immediately hoped Bell's Canyon would be included, and it is! To hear the legendary Bells Canyon remastered, what a great day this is 😄 Honestly, hearing all of these stories brought back tons of good memories, thank you for putting together this video for longtime fans ♥
It's cool how we gather like medieval children around a bard to hear him repeat a story we've already heard several times. We still get excited, have anxiety, and still anticipate what we already know 😂❤ such a great story ❤
I’m only a few mins in but I hope the valley of the headless men is on here. I’m going on a road trip up to the N.W.T in August and I might check it out!
The spooky mysterious forrest ones are my fav. I like when nobody gets seriously hurt they just get creeped out by some unknown stalker or something. Super cool
Forest are my fav too, but I like when the encounters are with mythological creatures. The best, he did one I believe within the last year, that story in particular I remember being NUTS. It’s about a young-ish woman, she’s in a forest and has a fuc*ed up encounter with this TALL entity that’s NOT human. She calls her dad and I think even 911 to report it and ask for help. Her dad ends up pulling up to her LAST minute as this thing is chasing her, it’s crazy! Lol, I’ll try to find the title and tell ya which one it is
I was camping in Sedona a year or two ago and kept hearing some footsteps outside my campsite. I would hear them come closer and closer, pause, get closer, move away, for about an hour. I couldn't see anything outside my tent, which didn't have the rain fly on it, so was black mesh. The entire time I kept thinking, who the fuck is this? I would yell out "yo" or "who the fuck is that?" And no response. It would stop moving and then wait for a minute, then slowly creep again. Eventually, I decided to get out of my tent to see what it was. I peeped out to find a donkey had wandered into my camp to check me out 😂😂😂 When I left the next morning I drove past that donkey and another laying nearby the road. Mofo scared the shit out of me 😂
That last story from your live podcast showed a very natural side of you. No editing, very relaxed body language like you were telling a story to a friend. I really enjoyed that. I hope you can do that again.
I think that was the livestream when I learned that he has 3 cats..I have 3 cats as well and I thought that's really cool that he likes cats and has 3 of them 😂
I too liked the format of the last story. I felt like I was at a coffee table with a friend when they're like, dude, I gotta tell you what's been happening. And you listen intently as they get it off their chest.
Mr. Ballen, you're a hero. Thank you for your service and this channel literally helped save me through the darkest part of my life. I detoxed off of heroin while watching your stories 3 years ago... Then myself and someone I met in rehab watched your stories together every night as that was the highlight of our day lol now I've been clean for (almost) 3 years. I lay here watching your newest video of some of my favorite stories, while my 2 year old daughter sleeps next to me.. crazy how life can turn around. I'm still a fan and always will be. Thanks for making my favorite content on TH-cam and unknowingly helping me through the hardest part of my life. Much love, everyone. Have a beautiful day... Oh, and do you know how to get to bells Canyon?
Good job ..... drugs are the hardest thing to quit.... I've been clean for 16 years now it does get easier so hang in there!!!! Congrats on the daughter
That's awesome and you should be so proud of yourself, hearing people share stuff like that makes it seem more possible for people like me. I have almost 6 months clean from heroin and crack, unfortunately i didnt choose it and was forced to get clean while in jail for 5 months but sitting here watching his videos and seeing comments like this make me more sure that i can get there in time too! If nobody else tells you, im so proud of you and try to remember the inspiration your words can give to others going through same or smiliar things as yourself! God bless!
I'm also a recovering herion addict, I get through alot of time not knowing what to do with my spare time. These videos have been a life saver for me. All the best to everyone in recovery and Mr ballen himself. ❤
IT'S BELLS CANYON!!! 👻 "Do you know how to get to Bell's Canyon?" !!!!! This is one of the very first Mr.Ballen stories I watched in 2020. You've come so far, thanks for all the hard work you've done to entertain, and scare, the crap out of us. 🎉🎉🎉
He could've just been a hiker that got lost on his way to Bells Canyon, and in the time lost in the wood, he went crazy and learnt to navigate the woods. Sometime the scary is just the people.
These were so scary, I went to bed scared to death just listening to every noise in my house. I love camping so much so these were tough to handle. I couldn't even imagine experiencing anything like this. Goosebumps EVERYWHERE! I had fearful tears in my eyes.
@@brianawhittaker8152 That, and how this guy roamed the woods at night with no flashlight, running around and not being injured. Plus, he messed with the camper both day and night, following him for miles. When did he sleep/rest? He could have been on drugs, so had extra energy for days, but not tripping over anything in the dark while running around like a maniac makes you wonder.
My grandson introduced me to Mr Ballen when he only had about 150,000 subscribers. We both still love Mr Ballen. Im really happy for you reaching 9 million!!!!
He grew really fast. I remember I first stumbled across his channel back in April 2020, and he had maybe 40 or 50,000 subs. Then he just grew so quickly it was unreal.
My 12 year old son introduced me to this channel after knowing my love for true crime and all things spooky and since then we've watched almost every episode together. It's one of our favorite bedtime rituals to eat a snack and throw on the latest episode of Mr. Ballen, it's something we both look forward to and gives us another reason to spend time together ❤️
I absolutely can’t tear myself away from these stories! Each new story makes your skin crawl, as if you are alone with the dark forces of the forest. Prepare to be carried away into a world of forest horror - and don't forget to check if the windows are closed before plunging into this mystical world!
I sorta forgot about this one until now and I finally googled Bells Canyon. It’s in Utah, which makes it even stranger to be asking how to get there when you’re in Washington. It’s almost 800 miles away
The woods in Maine are no joke. When I was like 13 myself, parents, and siblings all saw a strange person walking in the middle of the night on a dark road in the middle of nowhere. Person in a holder robe no face, no flash light, no car, nothing, just slowly walking. Never even looked up. Something straight out if a scary movie. My dad wanted to stop but we convinced him not to. Person or whatever it was wasn't looking for help. Never forgot the evil creepy feeling.
That land owner really out here like “can’t be anyone in there, I have a FeNcE” 😂😂 haven’t you heard people can climb those? You don’t need a gate to get in places
My dad and I were visiting friends in a state back east. We were camping and armed . Around 2 am we hear “ Sasquatch “ calls . We flank the noise , and catch 3 guys playing the noise . They were collecting ginseng on private property. Sheriff took them away. Honestly, we were more afraid of the ginseng poachers. Never go in to the woods unarmed.
We went hiking the other day in the national forest and this guy walks past with a bell on his pack. The only thing I could think of was that story and was like oh hell no! I'm out!
@@SunRayz3r Also the fact that he has a funny series with him and his (not real I don't think) pet frog named, "Seagull Lung" in all of his sponsors 😂 absolutely legendary
That story is honestly insane. I borderline don't believe it. How did he move within feet of the backpacker without making a sound? How did he stalk him for days without being seen? How did he stalk him for days with almost NO SLEEP? And what could possibly motivate another person to do that? It gets my wheels turning.
So Bells Canyon is a moderate to hard hike in Wakiakum in Washington state. Not recommended for the inexperienced or untried hiker. In fact, its not someplace ANYONE should try hiking to.
I swear to God, if I hear ANYTHING about Bell's Canyon in this upload. . . I'm gonna be super hyped for it and all the new listeners who get to enjoy it!! Thanks, John
As soon as Mr. Allen explained what this video was going to be, I started yelling, "Bells Canyon! Bells Canyon!" Glad to see I was rewarded. I wish he had included the story about the hunters/campers who were visited by the Sasquatch around their cabin in Northern California. One of my favorites, with real audio!
wait what's the Sasquatch one? The only one I know of with real audio wasn't "in a cabin" it was a makeshift campsite log shelter deep in the forest. I think it's the most intriguing and believable audio evidence.
I bumped into Mr Ballen's channel during the pandemic lockout. I litterally got hooked.... I live at a ranch 40 minutes away from any civilization with a few horses and a helper that I barely see.....thank you Mr Ballen for keeping me well entretained
Well, I don't necessarily believe in any supernatural and metaphysical transcendent humanoid being. Humans are really what I'm afraid of both socially and just other crazy people
Let's call it the MR Ballen paradox....... if you make 3-4-5 videos per week.... ONLY post 2 per week.......... He could have taken six months off and we'd never have known.
🙄 But, it isn't. You can find this all in the playlists. You think he'd really give us an appearance & new story? 😂 No. These are old stories edited together. Big.whoop.
@@Ron-d2s Quality has clearly gone up over time, some of these old stories are quite lame and seem totally made up. There are only so many real stories to find.
The Bells Canyon dude was 100% a wendigo or skinwalker. The persistent tracking, the ability to tell when Matt was sleeping, the repetition of the single sentence, the animal noises as it ran by the tent, the sprinting off into the pitch black forest without a flashlight, the apparent lack of need of sleep or shelter. It's just all so... inhuman.
These stories gave me the chills! Idk how ppl go to sleep after getting the feeling of something watching them. As someone who’s a fan of horror and thriller, I listen very hard to noise when I’m alone in the house!
I had something similar happen like the sleep well story when I was 14. My friend and I had gone camping out in this really remote country area a few miles from her house that we rode on four-wheelers to get to. We got up to this place where it was miles of steep grass hills and on the top of the tallest was a huge white cross stuck in the ground and a deer stand that was very high off the ground. We'd gone up to that hill so many times we didn't think anything of it anymore and other than us scaring each other by crawling around in the super dense and tall grass we never felt any kind of unease there. The night we were camping we'd gotten everything set up and were eating dinner when we heard what sounded like a chainsaw off in the distance. This sort of freaked us out for three reasons. 1. All the locals knew this area was rough and only ever used vehicles to get around, so it was definitely not a trusted local as we would have heard their engine. 2. It was probably about 10 pm and pitch black so we couldn't imagine why we were hearing a chainsaw. Who uses something like that when they can't see? 3. We were two 14 year old girls camping out miles away from her house and easy pickings essentially. After a while we stopped hearing it and when it was quiet we decided to get some sleep. Of course I awoke later to the chainsaw only it was closer. I woke my friend and we sat there trying to figure out how close they were and whether or not we could make a break for the fourwheelers. After a few minutes of the sound and hearing that it was indeed getting closer we chose to abandon our stuff and flee to the vehicles if it was clear. The chainsaw cut off suddenly leaving us an eerie silence that was not there before. When the chainsaw started up again right outside our camp my friend had the sense to use her phone to call someone where as I sat there crying. 😂 Her mom answered and Must've only heard a roaring chainsaw and understood we needed help. Whoever had the chainsaw was walking around the top of the hill and seemingly wandering away for a while before coming back and repeating that. After a few minutes we heard what sounded like explosions until the chainsaw cut off and we realized we were listening to the roaring of a four-wheeler combined with shotgun blasts. My friend's parents had stormed out with a shotgun and when they got to the hill we were on apparently started firing off warning shots. It scared the chainsaw maniac away and gave me a memory I will never forget. We never went back up to the hill after that and when the police were called about what happened they said there wasn't much they could do since there was no leads and no one was harmed. I get it but like does circling a tent with two teenage girls while welding a chainsaw at night count as harmless??
Please keep doing camping, hiking, and backpacking stories. They’re by far the most believe-able and existentially terrifying. And they always end up being hits with 5 million + views in a month so it’s a win win.
You just decided that we ALL want camping videos? 😂 If that Is what _you're_ looking for, Then go find it. We're here for the strange, dark & mysterious. Not "camping & backpacking gone wrong" Watch what would happen! People would NOT be happy. Go watch Kyle hates hiking. Good channel & almost ALL about hiking mysteries. See ya
Every story Ballen tells is a true story, he makes sure to do his research . It's only the supernatural ones that get a lil tricky bc there's no a lot of proof. But a senior US military officer already came out on record saying aliens exist and made contact.😮😮😮
TOTALLY appreciate being told what is actual photos, and what is not. Almost all channels do not do this, and it's misleading at times, and other times, just...obvious fluff, for visual entertainment. So, LOVE seeing the ACTUAL photos, when available! As always, very interesting content. Thanks!
I went camping with my family a couple weeks ago and I told them one of your stories. It’s the first video I watched from this channel a couple years ago about the bell ringing in forest. It scared them half to death. The strange dark and mysterious have always been fascinating to me and I’m so glad that this channel exists so I can enjoy that.
As someone who lived and camped in WA, those woods are spooky. I’ve never camped alone, I’ve always had a group of atleast 4 people. Now I live in FL and these woods are spooky as well. The trees hold memories and lots of history.
Imagine Mrballen stops to help a stranded motorist on the roadside to assist, then when he's saying goodbye, the motorist says, "Oh, one more thing - do you know the way to Bells Canyon? "
I'm in the hospital waiting for surgery because I completely shattered my ankle into bits and pieces. This is awesome it'll keep my mind off the pain for an hour!!! Thanks Mr. Ballen
Bells Canyon is going to be this generation’s: “I got you where I want you and I’m gonna eat you”, from the closet in the hotel that only has one notoriously haunted room left!
It's a shame Supernatural ended before Mr. Ballen hit the big time. This is the crossover I never new I needed. Then I got a vivid image of Mr. Ballen driving the impala, trying to make it out of the the monster's territory by nightfall, wishing he'd listened to the boys when they told him to give up looking for it. The episode will be called, "Bell's Canyon" and will end with Mr. Ballen finding out what happened to all the Missing 411 cases. Edit: And of course at least one part is going to have to involve scuba diving to find clues.
@@timothycausey8399 It's a wild ride! The best part is the show has rewatch-ability and binge-ability. Going back and watching it a second time is a trip; you get perspective on seeing where things started vs how things ended.
Mr.Ballen thank you so much for your video. I am a 30 year old man who suffers from depression, adhd, ptsd, and I am physically and medically disabled and your videos have help me move forward with my life.
Dear MrBallen.... I have been a subscriber since 1 mil. I absolutely LOVE the way u tell these stories without even stumbling up. U are like the best, most captivating story teller ever. I've been spreading your name around quite frequently. My friends and I always talk about the stories the next day after u tell them. Keep up the amazing work brother. U WERE BORN FOR THIS!!!!! Best wishes from Milwaukee Wisconsin
The Mr Ballen fan family are some of the best people in the world. The comment section is so full of positive energy and support. I love everything about this channel.
In 2016 I hiked 800 miles in 70-ish days and nights, sleeping in a little tent and carrying my stuff in a backpack. And I will tell you something for free, for almost 60-ish nights I shit my pants. I say 60 because for about 10 I stayed on actual campsites where I was surrounded by at least some other campers. But the nights I slept on the moors.... the noises you hear outside your tent in the early hours are just terrifying. And once the fear sets in, it's impossible to escape. Every cracking twig and rustling bush become monsters in your imagination. I would never do it again ever.
We are trying out some new formats. Let us know what you think of this bonus episode! Also, don't miss this Sunday's video for a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!
so excited!!🫶🏻

Great story, but as an Arizona native and someone who has been to the Superstitions many times, there is no woods. It's high desert. Low shrubs, Saguaro, but zero pines. Not to mention, you can see a good distance at night since there are no tall trees nearby. The myths about the Superstitions are well known, though. Many have disappeared.

Apparently the digging woman is still in the forests of Maine. Campers say they catch her peeking at them from behind trees before she disappears, only to be caught peeking at them again. At night it’s said she unzips people’s tents just enough to peek at them through the hole and watch them sleep.

Plus doctors wife… that alone says unlimited prescriptions of god knows what for years
@@alessandropizzocaro7506you obviously have never camped in the actual open woods.
Nobody in Italy goes woodland hiking..😂
There’s alot more strange people in the USA, for sure.

I’m making shepherds pie.”
I told him I already ate and he got pretty pissed off.
I was pretty pissed off at this point and I asked
“Buddy, do you kill people? Are you a serial killer?” (Wasn’t genuinely asking, it was the set up)
Thankful the crazy bastard says, “Yes, im a serial killer.”
I pulled my gun out, tried my hardest to sound confident and convincing and said “Heey, me too! Let’s see who’s better at it?”
Eyes went wide, he screamed; then ran tf out of there.
Haven’t actually camped since 😂
Anyway sorry for the long story. The “bell canyon” dude just reminded me of that.

The entire time I kept thinking, who the fuck is this? I would yell out "yo" or "who the fuck is that?" And no response. It would stop moving and then wait for a minute, then slowly creep again.

I absolutely can’t tear myself away from these stories! Each new story makes your skin crawl, as if you are alone with the dark forces of the forest. Prepare to be carried away into a world of forest horror - and don't forget to check if the windows are closed before plunging into this mystical world!
So generic. Are you a real person?

The bells canyon freaks me out every time I hear it; this was no exception, I think this one freaked me out even more. Well done.
It sounds like a Cryptid. Or ghost. Like maybe you answer wrong so it throws you into the canyon or something.
The story becomes so ludicrous, I had to laugh. I half expected him to get home and find the guy living next door to him now
I sorta forgot about this one until now and I finally googled Bells Canyon. It’s in Utah, which makes it even stranger to be asking how to get there when you’re in Washington. It’s almost 800 miles away
Bells canyon is 800 miles away from Washington 😂@aisleelovegreenwood6448
The woods in Maine are no joke. When I was like 13 myself, parents, and siblings all saw a strange person walking in the middle of the night on a dark road in the middle of nowhere. Person in a holder robe no face, no flash light, no car, nothing, just slowly walking. Never even looked up. Something straight out if a scary movie. My dad wanted to stop but we convinced him not to. Person or whatever it was wasn't looking for help. Never forgot the evil creepy feeling.
Demon?
Sorry that was me lmao
Oh hell nah, like in every scary/horror movie never stop for anyone 😅
Yeah nah, always trust your gut feeling in those moments
I had the same experience with my mom we almost crash. I saw a man no face with folded khaki pants and when we look back it was gone
That land owner really out here like “can’t be anyone in there, I have a FeNcE” 😂😂 haven’t you heard people can climb those? You don’t need a gate to get in places
Right?! 😂 trespassers? Never heard of em
Make claymores great again 😅. Oof that'll get me on another list
Exactly! And people can travel on foot they don’t need a car to get to the gate entrance. There’s one camera. Not around the whole perimeter
I think he knew something strange was out there.
I think it was the guy himself
My dad and I were visiting friends in a state back east. We were camping and armed . Around 2 am we hear “ Sasquatch “ calls . We flank the noise , and catch 3 guys playing the noise . They were collecting ginseng on private property. Sheriff took them away. Honestly, we were more afraid of the ginseng poachers. Never go in to the woods unarmed.

That story is honestly insane. I borderline don't believe it. How did he move within feet of the backpacker without making a sound? How did he stalk him for days without being seen? How did he stalk him for days with almost NO SLEEP? And what could possibly motivate another person to do that?
It gets my wheels turning.

Apparently there's a 2nd story of bells canyon too.

That’s absolutely terrifying
Definitely not harmless.
Wow, I'm glad you guys were at least warned by the sound of the chainsaw. Could've snuck up on you.
That is freaky. Where was that at?
Why were you girls out there by yourselves?
Please keep doing camping, hiking, and backpacking stories. They’re by far the most believe-able and existentially terrifying. And they always end up being hits with 5 million + views in a month so it’s a win win.

I say 60 because for about 10 I stayed on actual campsites where I was surrounded by at least some other campers. But the nights I slept on the moors.... the noises you hear outside your tent in the early hours are just terrifying. And once the fear sets in, it's impossible to escape.
