Got to the point of the fillet surface after the two surface trims. Went through the earlier steps again but did exactly as you showed. In my version the fillet surface doesnt work and gives me the following message: The patch cannot be created. Try a different curvature method, alternate face or surface quality setting. Literally tried every option in the fillet surface tab but cant get it to work. Version Im using is SW 2023 btw.
Edit: i removed the surface trim steps from the video and trimmed the piece of the tap inside where it sticks through the base. Then trimmed the piece of surface from the base so it opened the hole to the tap. Then did the knit surface command on the edge where the tap connects to the base and then did a variable size fillet on that edge and that worked. I have no idea why the fillet surface did not work.

I was facing the same issue . .. . . With 2024 version , you can do it by just have to convent both of the surface by 3d sketch on by one and then lofted them
