@That Normal Kid they are like belts...if you play a piece correctly ( song ) they give you one...they are mostly for beginners tho i guess to make you feel better that you cant play 😆 but one you learn they only care abt u playing correctly😭

I- I’ll stick with my teacher. He plays 80s and alternative rock songs before class starts and tells us funny and cool analogys to teach us stuff. And best part, HE ALSO LIKES TO TEASE THE VIOLAS! Not that much tho.(I’m a violin)

@李詹姆士 Yes! Your probably glad you don't have the pacer and the mile! :'D The pacer is where you run back and forth to an automated track. Whenever it beeps, you run to the other side, and if you don't make it in time, your out. Well, that's how my school does it. And the mile is where you do 4 laps around your school track (depending on how big your track is) and you have to complete it in under 12 or 13 mins.

one of the school cellos at my high school has no strings, no bridge, and no endpin

My high school has 3 cellos the one in the best condition only had 3 strings, they get worse from their. And we only have one decent bass that hasn't been set up in forever. The other 2 basses sound terrible.

A Violin broke at my school. Not just an "E string snaps" break, no a full on snap in half. My music teacher now uses the top part (Scroll+fingerboard) as the hallway pass

You’re lucky you actually have an indoor room. At my school we have to play in moldy portables, though I think the best solution is to kick out the band from their indoor room.

we have to share with all the bands since theres only 2 orchestras (one for 7th and another for 8th) and theres like 4 different bands and theres like 10 broken stands, and chairs and stands pretty much everywhere.

it’s because in band we have percussion so we need more space for the marimbas, tympanies, snares, basses, and so we have space for the lockers and playrooms. also at my old school the band and orchestra shared rooms depending on what period it was

As an orchestra student, somehow only confirm the part about tuning. Also fixing knocked off bridges and asking random questions and playing wrong lol. But like none of the others.
we watched this today, i related to the "i left my viola in the math class" and when the part came on my teacher said "Gabby." and looked at me, he did that to everyone when a part came on and labeled people as the parts
you forgot when someone takes the extra rosin and then just keeps it and gives it back with a small stub at the end of the year

My schools never offered orchestra. Only regular band. I.e. saxophone, flute, clarinet, percussion etc. Alto sax for life! :p

I’m a bass, and whenever someone at my school tells me band is better, I’m like, boi I’m in a band, it’s called the orchestra. You just wish you could be in it.
I’m actually in another band as well, the jazz band, so I either say the previous, or make the other person feel stupid. Jeez, what us up with band kids bragging? Us orchestra students NEVER go around saying orchestra is better than band to the band kids.
True. I play the bass too and I'm in Jazz band in my school. Play both Double and Electric. If they didn't have someone from our orchestra in our jazz band playing the bass we wouldn't have one because the other one graduated last year.

i am in band and every single day of 6th and 7th grade year this flute came into class and told the director “can i go got my flute i left it in home room” after a few months every time he walked in she would just say “go get ur flute”

What this particular teacher uses them for learning sections of music. On my bow I have white red orange yellow green blue purple and pink.
