Another great video a lot of time as been spent on these on these old lasses to get them back in to this sort of working condition . When the baler blocked up behind the Farmall tractor it reminded me when we baled with a Massey Ferguson 703 baler behind a Fordson Major with no live drive you could change gear by dipping the clutch on the stroke of the ram with out stopping a bit of a shock for the gearbox but these old lasses were built to take it. Never saw any balers like that over here. I never had communication with Mr. Knight, but he loved those early combines as much as me. Thanks for the video Richard.
@hansgrehoner9847 whats the connection between the two. I know bolinder munktel were volvo. Or the other way round to be corect. John Deere wore the lanz badge in Europe for a few year's
@hansgrehoner9847 ok, im not entirely sure of history but bolinder munktel which is what the bm stands for was Scandinavian company i think. They used to sell trailer combines too Ransomes in the Uk. Ransomes would re paint and re badge them.

the Massey Harris was on our fields in 1955 but smaller and with grain sacks.
In 1956 we got a Class SF "Hercules" with straw baler.

I have cut acres with a 21 but never a 21A. Good old machines, lots to grease though.
