I was about to say, this is Tim Burton's Pee Wee's Playhouse, and then remembered, oh right, Tim Burton directed the first one? Second one? One of them.
I was today years old when I finally dawned on me that Hunter doesn't live in the house with these crazy puppets it's just his studio where he makes videos
I got to say this is so cool I love it when you guys do collaborations with meatcanyon because the stuff you make is absolutely haunting in the best way possible love the work you guys do absolute Legends
I love that you make these videos so we can all see the pure artistry and engineering that goes into these pieces rather than it being a fleeting “oh cool, Hunter has a new dope puppet”
The way the paint is layered on the skin is ridiculously good. Normally with props you get a sense of "yeah this is just a propr" but this looks like if Terrance was ever real, he would actually look like this. Dont know if i explained myself well but I'm really blown away by the paint job on this guy.
I’ve always loved puppetry. I’m not an artist but projects like Hunters and Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared bring me so much joy. Your dedication to your craft is evident.
Again, totally blown away by what you all have done here. I don't know if it's a testament to your work but, the most unsettling thing about this one is that as soon as I saw him, looking at the eyes makes my eyes start to hurt, almost like sympathy pains. May just be me but, creating something that looks convincingly enough "alive" to the point where someone might be able to find genuine sympathy or empathy towards them goes a long way towards feeling immersed in that world. Fantastic work!
I’ve been a Meat fan for a while and I gotta say it’s amazing to see Hunter’s unique style brought to life by you guys. Great stuff! How much of a focus is TH-cam for you? It’s cool seeing these come together, but I would really be interested in more technical longer videos. Maybe like Adam Savage’s Tested channel with his builds. I could understand if you want to remain more client oriented rather than producing content. I just think there would be an audience for like a progressive build series, or technical breakdowns of stages in your progress. Either way I love what you’re doing and hope you’ll keep doing these at least!
Thank you so much! We're definitely trying to figure out how to be more of an in-depth build channel. Since finishing this guy, we started upping the recording to be daily with 2 cameras now, so we really get all the steps. I think by next year we'll be in full swing!
That mixture of digital and physical sculpting is such a cool process, wouldn't have thought to do something like that but it makes a lot of sense, you get the best of both worlds. Awesome job bringing the character to life!
These puppets seem to have a personality, if not soul. Papa Meat’s channel is growing rapidly and I am excited to see what comes next. Great work on these props guys and gals! 👏🏻
Y’all are so talented and dedicated to your craft, every time I see one of these videos I just shake my head and can’t stop saying “wow.” Just the dedication and creativity to practical effects makes me really have faith that it’s not a dying art
I said this on PapaMeat's channel but I'll say this here as well: Terrance ended up looking so cute for some reason lmao I think part of it is the voice/personality they gave him but still. Speaks volumes about the talent of every artist involved to make a character that was suposed to be just gross to look so endearing
Dude this collab is insanely dope. I'm loving this cast of characters you guys have been putting so much time and love into! It shows! Keep up the great work!
Seeing these puppets behind the scenes is incredible to watch step by step, and honestly it's really inspiring to try a hand at Coming from someone that has been a massive fan of Special Effects like this and Jim Henson in general Amazing work as always
I love watching people make puppets like this. Jim Henson’s stuff was awesome. I know the company still works on some projects, but I’d love to see more puppetry in things in general.
“This hole feels really wide.” Story of my life! Every 👏 single 👏 time! It’s like throwing a hotdog down a hallway! God really did me dirty.. lol nah, on a serious note, Terrance came out SO F’ING GOOD! You guys are awesome!
Amazing job on the newest Big Beautiful Boy for MEAT'S PLAYHOUSE. Now we just need a living ceiling fan with fan blades that are just long massive toenails. Or a living toilet that screams anytime Hunter goes to the bathroom 😂
hey adam! i just wanted to tell you that you’ve inspired me to start sculpting and i hope one day be able to do as good of a job as you do! thank you for being so inspiring
Meatcanyon is slowly turning his second channel into a weird "pee wee's playhouse" type show and im all for it. Question for KREATUREKID: I see at the beginning there is a zbrush/3d modeling software and then it cuts to a clay version of the character. What is the 3D step for? is there a machine to take the 3D model into clay?
They sculpt it in 3D, 3D print it then add clay on top to add texture, then they cast a mold out of the clay layer, then fill the mold with silicone to make the final puppet mask
I am so impressed with Papa and the artists surrounding him. Don't mess this up papa. I better never see a penguinz0 or coffeezilla video about some bad thing you did or I will be very sad.Keep striving to bring good things into the world, don't let your success corrupt you. You the man
The longer form videos are great! It's really nice and frankly captivating to be able to watch more of the process of making these insane works of art.
I was watching one of his videos the other day just thinking about how amazing it looked. This is top tier stuff right here. It’s like a combo of Tim Burton and Jim Henson with a dash of Rick Baker. Amazing work.
I just got into hunters stuff recently and it amazes me how Into his art and brand he is. I keep seeing and learning new, demented, shit and I LOVE IT. He’s awesome and you guys are too for making his dream come to life!
Terrance looks so grotesque…it’s amazing 😃!!! It is uncanny how good your team is at bringing all of these characters to life! As someone who has been wanting to try their hand at this on a smaller scale, may I ask what brand of materials you all use/recommend? I noticed you guys use a lot of clay and I assume silicone in these puppets? The air brushing you guys do is also very aspiring! I would love to see a video where you break down each step of the process a bit more 😊! Again astounding work! I seriously cannot wait to see more from you all 😄!
Love this and love papa meats content with these! On the next puppet vid for him, could you take a bit more time to show us from the back how something like this gets puppetted? I tried to follow when you were on set explaining to them but I gotta see what it looks like when you're back there lol
It's so cool seeing the 3D sculpt, then the print, paint/layering process, and seeing the final results! The puppet looks amazing and creepy as always.
It's really awesome how much effort you put into the detail. Like you could've just skipped some areas and/or done something larger so it takes less time but, you guys went in and added little wrinkles on wrinkles and the crevices and folds where people normally wouldn't have see a difference. I think it's amazing and the effort you guys put in is awesome
Im glad I found out who did the puppets- you guys are amazing artists! I've had a macabre fascination with puppetry since watching the puppet master series as a kid back in the early 90's, and you guys have made some awesome ones. Hope to see this guy a little more because hes currently my favorite creation - but I'm also excited to see what else you all make in the future
Guys and girls, amazing job! Really love your work. Keep it up, love the creepbeauty, the attention to detail you guys pour in all the time is really something. NICE.
I think its so cool seeing the whole process and the way you troubleshoot any issues. Its super interesting and really inspiring to see the work from beginning to end

I love this world you’re building with Meatcanyon.
Terrance really looks like how it feels to be sick with a cold or flu
You got too close to a meteor Crater
