You forgot to add greeting every guest with a guided tour of the masked and non-masked seating areas in the house. That throws a few logs on the fire early, so you have plenty of coals for the fireworks later.

Ernest…. If there is ever a time to be well-versed in politics, it’s now. It’s more important today than ever before. Also, on that note, I prefer NOT to know a musical artist or actors political leaning, because it ruins the music for me. However, I won’t listen to lefty comedy, because it’s not funny. I want jokes for both sides, but I don’t want to listen to a communist preaching to me. I feel like lefty ‘comedians’ are angry and preachy morons. Right leaning comedians are just funnier in general, without me even knowing what side they lean….. usually it’s obvious….. I don’t even know if that makes sense- lol.
True, Bill Engvall just retired and I think is a minister and wants to spend more time with his grandkids. Jeff works whenever he wants because he doesn't need to work.
Exactly. Heck, Larry the Cable Guy still does some shows during the year, but his podcast and live are his career now. Pretty sure his residuals from Cars and other projects mean he doesn't have to be out there.
This is a prime example of why I hate when you have a guest. I had no idea what you all were talking about the whole time and it was so boring. It's like listening to 2 best friends talk about inside jokes you know nothing about. When you have guests on, you still have to do your normal show prep agenda. Have you and the guest comment on it and have both your takes so the audience can be 'part of the conversation'. This format really excludes the listener.
