They had made a Joint Venture, Cat sells the Claas Combines in Ameriika and Australia, and Claas their tracked Tractors in Europe, but they broke up, and so now are all new ones are green :D
I just saw a Challenger tractor for the first time over the weekend in South Africa and i can see the true power of the CHALLENGER. The MT7 - MT9 series blew me off.
I work for the Remanufacturing division of CAT...and all the people who do not like CAT engines products etc. U have no idea what kind of passion CAT puts into their products, whether its A combine, MH, or engine its built with passion, I build 1,300+ HP engines everyday for CAT and lots of passion and pride go into my work, as for the other 140 people on my shift, they're the same way!!!
In Brazil is made harvesting and planting tractor comes in behind .... but we do not have silos, roads, railways and diesel is the most expensive in the world because of taxes .... Still Brazilian farmers is increasing productivity and production year after year ....
@cld0525 the lexion 590&595 is 462hp-516hp variable. My family is picking about 250 acres per day (sometimes more sometimes less) of corn with 2 590's with 12 row heads.
Its a bitter pill really coz I've been loyal to CAT since the day a drove our 955L Tack Shovel at the age of 9 lol, but after a couple of Screw you experiences from CAT, I reluctantly have to buy different Kit !
that awesome tho as long as you enjoy it. iv driven a couple lexions a deere and a couple axel flows all nice machines well the deeres just another deere meh level equipment lol lexions my favorite but my own babys a bit more low tech lol i have a 1980 massey 540 but i still love every minute i spend behind the wheel of it
My neighbor has a John Deere and Claas Lexion. He says the Claas is twice the combine and that JD's are downright terrible. The Lexion he says burns half as much fuel and is way bigger on capacity. And he says this year with all the rain at harvest that the compaction was terrible on the fields with the JD. Was like putting trenches in that gumbo.
My father drive's a Claas lexion 570! Claas lexion is in america CAT Lexion. ............ But the Catapillar Lexions had a other Engine.....................
CAT is good but not always the best !! and they know how to Charge for parts, ive had 2 disingenuous experiences with CAT that's why I run Komatsu !! but the CAT looks right !!
These And Gleaner are best. I hate to put down John Deere because they are American, but you are only paying for A name. Quality to this, not even close
Thats because americans think they are the best so all foreign stuf will not sell cat is an american brand so claas got a working relationship with cat to sell under their name americans are just stupid 😑
Now thats the only thing I like about America! The ability to build big agricultural & Construction/ mining machines! Their politics i do not agree with. I think the yanks should stick to this type of thing and not interfere with the rest of the worlds affairs!
Cat are way better than jcb, today but 10/15yrs ago jcb were as good as cat, my friends dad has worked in some of the highest places for JCB, Cat and finning and he says that jcb are today a cheap pile a tat thats been well engineered and that cat will wipe there arse every day of the fucking week...
