Whatever Mr Ravi Shankar on reservation is totally wrong. In his view reservation should mar merit. Because of reservation deserving candidates don't get their due and migrate where they get the opportunity thus the main cause of brain drain. Point of consideration is whether any politician would prefer to get treatment from a doctor of reserved category irrespective of his or her merit. Instead of advocating reservation, efforts should be made to provide all basic facilities to deprived class instead of compromising with merit
