The most modern version of the challenger 2 is called "Black Knight". The original Challenger was meant to be used by another country but the order got cancelled and so the British used it to replace their Chieftain main battle tank. It was use in the Gulf War with no losses, and set the recorded of longest tank kill in history, 2 km. The Challenger 2 used the same chassis as the original, but had a new turret. They are so loud! I saw one at the Bovington tank Museum. The Titian Bridge Layer uses the same chassis of the Challenger 2. Also, I am happy that Lando said trousers instead of pants.

The armor values are classified, you really can’t say which is stronger.
Abrams have been knocked out in combat, about 20 all together but no challengers have ever been lost.
