Old soul... Old soul is the best way to describe A-Reece. I love this dude's music. He's got the techniques that could make him outrun most rappers in the industry - I'm saying this with regards to his writing skills. You can tell that his poetry is well thought out and somehow finds a way to deliver it in a slique and intelligent way.
My only plea to South African rappers... A little vernac in our poetry would put a stamp of authenticity in this artform we call music. I mean, our country has 11 offical languages which our rappers could play with. By any means, I am not suggesting they rap 100% straight vernac. I am just emphasing the importance of resonating with our own first.
Bro there's enough rappers in the country... not every rapper has to put in vernec. They are south Africans and that's a sufficient representation.

Not every rapper has to rap in vernacular, we have enough rappers in SA rapping in Vernacular already. Rappers who spit in straight English are just 4% out of 100 and if every rapper started rapping in vernac their audience is going to be limited to SA because people outside of SA can't relate to it.

"they tried to cut him and pass him off, but couldnt kill a young bull like an amateur el matador" so basically the label tried to cut him and lied about how much they spent on him (allegedly they spent R1m) and didnt want to pay him til they recouped.. then he also talks about teaching someone to be "self-taught" basically responding to the label dude saying he made him.. super fye 🔥😩
