This movie is so rad!!! One reasons I was so hyped seeing Boyega in the force awakens trailer. Monsters vs bikers in a city its so ingeniously portrayed! And the designs of the monsters from their glowing teeth to their screech is amazing!

I absolutely loved this movie, I used to watch the part where Moses bum rushed past the aliens on repeat all the time because of the music. As a horror fan around that time I didn't see many films where they actually killed off the younger cast so I genuinely surprised that Moses was pretty much the last man standing

A lot of British TV shows started randomly injecting snippets of predominantly black cultures into their content to appease BBC and Guardian writers who were mad that characters like Luther weren't "black enough". Because apparently if you aren't at least partially a walking stereotype to them you aren't real

This film has the most realistic depiction of inner city london teenagers (not just ethnic teenagers) in the history of scifi films to an outsider they appear to be stereotypes but those who have lived experiance in london know many teens from inner city london did (do) look, act and talk exactly as the teens in this film behave yes there is a comdidic spin but it's a teenage scifi monster movie and was written and directed in a way to not take itself seriously.

Going with making the "so dark a black it absorbs light" made it so that the CG could like a little campy while looking amazing at the same time. It wasn't a bad move on the designer and writer's part. Designing a CG creature they could afford to make look as good as many Hollywood budgets. It allowed them to focus on making the creature's jaws and mouth movements a bit more realistic and detailed while operating with no textures to the main body. The amount of time and effort it takes to make a good looking 3D CGI texture for a creature really pumps up the costs so it was a smart move on their part.

The only thing I know about this film is that it was directed by Joe Cornish. One half of the cult Adam and Joe show. Known for making hillarious Movie/TV parodies with stuffed toys and action figures.
Ah, I remember watching this movie, it was a fun ride. Plus, I really like the alien designs, I don't really know how functional they are, but the certainly look cool, with the glow in the dark teeth and stuff. Neat
There was an influx of Jamaican immigrants post WWII in Britain. The Mods loved the ska music the Rude Boys brought with them and their style as well. Later in the 60s the Hard Mods(or original skinheads) fell in love with the subsequent Jamaican R&B genres rocksteady and reggae. And there was a lot of interest in later types of reggae such as dub within the punk rock community of the late 70s.
My reaction to seeing a dog was about the same as Alteoris. Every time there is a dog in a horror or action movie I pause the movie and prepare for it to die lol.
Is the first Alteori video I've seen in a while now, and I must say, the voice change is quite a surprise! They had the alien kill the dog simply to show that they are incredibly hostile to all other species. They don't care what you are, where you're from or how old you are. If you're made of flesh and bone, you're on the menu. I commend film makers who take those kinds of risks, it proves that there are creators out there who actually have some balls and are willing to go extreme.

They look like a mutated version of the aliens from Critters.
The creature really looks fun to draw and is a cool concept
You know, I quite enjoyed this movie, it didn’t need I’ve the top budget and somehow made the creatures look really good
