    That carrier wave analogy is a genius way to explain and learn Sunyata. Wow, that is so amazing that you could connect the two and use that analogy to help explain Sunyata! I am not an engineer, I did not know about carrier waves so hearing this analogy was pure genius to me, a real amazing way to explain your view of Sunyata.

    Does this map onto what Nagarjuna said 'emptiness' is?

    • @philosophybabble
      @philosophybabble  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, it aligns with a foundational essence, the opposite of ‘emptiness.’ This is the atman (brahman) as the ultimate ground of being.

      @@philosophybabble I thought not! But I'm assuming that śūnya has a different meaning for Shentong and Cittamatra.

      @@bayreuth79 No, they differ in their core principles, despite some surface similarities.

      0 is still part of the number scale, sunyata/anatta is beyond that

    Advaita is better. Advaita gives you images of eternity. Buddhism is a darker interpretation of Upanishads and don't forget you need to beg for your food every morning at 5am. And then wait 24 hours to beg again. Advaita has no requirements.

    • @ary-here
      @ary-here ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That perfectly sums up your understanding of Buddhism... Not sure though how much you understand Advaita though...

      @ary-here Are you ready to beg every day and fast every day?
