The crown vic is coming back in mix 2 or 3 for 2025 but I doubt the doors will be metal. They will be plastic as it has been since the casting was new.
These models are amazing. I really hope to find these. I'm still looking for the previous mix. It's a bummer you didn't get the mini cooper. Hopefully you can find it on the pegs.
Amazing unboxing of the final Matchbox Moving Parts for 2024! Found the new Prius, Mini Cooper EV, and the Spitfire. Hope to find the rest of the mix including the Boone County Sheriff's K9 2018 Dodge Durango!
Its because they drag their feet on releases during the year and once they get to the end, they gotta push it all out. We had some terrible assortments earlier this year that could have benefited from at least one of these cars.
In my opinion Matchbox always give the best, the details and paint used are always good and neat. Now I'm more interested in buying a Matchbox than Hot Wheels which always presents JDM and F&F cars every year. Nice video, enjoyed it 👍
I understand your frustration as a collector of minis I would of loved to have seen it. I like Land Rover FC camper and the corvair sidearm pickup. I haven’t seen The Land Rover, the Mini or the corvair in retail store. Except for eBay sellers who are charging an arm and a leg for these items. Where did you purchased the case of the moving parts that may be my only way to add these to my collection
I buy all my sealed cases from Jcar diecast. I am not sponsored so if someone wants to shout out other dealers to help the viewers, that's all good with me. I appreciate everyone being so respectful!!
Like the Durango and it has a tow hitch so it could tow a horse trailer for a search n rescue opp. 👍👍👍👍 Landrover is kool too and it has a tow hitch so you could pull a boat for that memorial day weekend fun.. Hmm dang it I know your frustration with my collection of Hot Wheels as well. Why so few cars in a case from Matchbox compared to Hot Wheels do you have that answer...?? That just seems odd to me because Matchbox has more everyday vehicles not like Hot Wheels have off the wall cars among other cars. I also feel Hot Wheels kind of drop the ball on their cars today compared to those past , such as the Teed Off I have I'm guessing one of the first castings to that car and it's more detailed motor and body style aswell Haven't seen a new casting to the Radio Flyer which I have 2 of from one in blue and other in purple and that casting well detailed too. I Would like to see Hot Wheels step back in time with more detailed castings like they were in late 70'- early 80's. Just my thoughts as a collector of die cast and now to this channel Mini GT 1/64 Trucks 😄👍👍👍 Nice posting Thanks for posting enjoyed it 😎🍻✌️👋
Moving parts is only 8 per case. Somewhat similar to the silver line premiums from Hotwheels. Less models in a release and less peg space so naturally it is less in a case. Hotwheels has moved on from the 70s and 80s flair but still has some throwback stuff like Ultra Hots at Target.
@levelmdiecast2329 Thanks for the response back , unfortunately I know live in the armpit of our nation and I am lucky to have cell service 🤪 100mil west of Amarillo TX and 180mil east of Albq NM but only 12mil from the special opps AFB that fly the C-130 Gun Ships " Desth from Above " to the Taliban cleaning up all the straggling squirters. La LA LA God is Great
You know something brandon? I love this set but sometimes Matchbox is not always going to get everything perfect but we all know nobody in Mattel is perfect. Plz reply
I do too. I bought three cases and was hoping at least one had a chase but for all three to have no chase and the mix to be messed up is double negative....
Ok case. Very disappointed by the amount of plastic on the Landrover. Was looking forward to it. Not anymore. Same on the Merc. The "opening" hood on the Triumph is ridiculous. Best MBX casting of the year is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. And even there, great casting, but a collector series with NO metal base. MBX is really pushing it.
As a Mini owner and collector, I was happy to find a few on the pegs. I grabbed two of them. I doubt I'll find the Land Rover though, which I also collect. I'll keep searching. Great video.
@@levelmdiecast2329 I was very suprised picking up three cars from one of HWs "silver" series. Two Porsches and the 66 Impala, four Euro cheaper than MBX collector series, and with metal bases. HW can, why not MBX...
The dog in the Durango is the icing on the cake
Its quite nice.
If they can retool the crown Victoria casting and put metal doors in the back just like they did with the durango pursuit it would be great.

Thought they did... CV Taxi.
Hello Brandon, nice Matchbox Moving Parts!
1:34 this one’s my favorite and I’m getting this in the mail

Still looking....
I stumbled across the Mini Cooper at my local supermarket. It was the only Moving Parts left on the hook. I would love to find the rest
Lovin that durango..hope i can find one myself..thanks for sharin..🫰👌
No problem 👍

The case assortments we got in Australia were similar. Stores either got cases with 2 Triumphs & no mini, or 2 mini and 2 triumphs.
This is unfortunate.
What a surpise the whole set is brand new casting, remember me the mix 1 and 2 basics is choke full of licensed cars.
Its because they drag their feet on releases during the year and once they get to the end, they gotta push it all out. We had some terrible assortments earlier this year that could have benefited from at least one of these cars.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND ONLINE!
I also ordered these from Jcar. The picture of the case did show 2 of the Spitfires in each case. I haven't received mine yet.
Yes it does but we also had the Mini for sale individually. That means at least some of his cases were correct.
OH SNAP!
The Durango looks fantastic. Not going to be easy to find in Montreal.
I think it will be hard to find almost everywhere.
Unboxing: 2024 Matchbox Moving Parts - Mix 8 - The Last Case Of The Year YOU BETCHA!
Can find a Buck Wagon moving parts 2:29 2:31

Definitely need more MBX collectors!

Man, that’s super crazy about the mix having no Cooper
He said he got these from Jcar Diecast. There are others though. I won't post them because I don't know if he's sponsored by Jcar or not.

Just got my MBX Moving Parts case from Jcar. I did get a Jeep Super Chase and the Mini EV. No Land Rover, though.
Yes, the Land Rover is the one absent if you got a chase.
The Corvair Rampside is FWD28 not 29 👍
They had production issues with the mini cooper so there aren’t many of them! It’s almost like a chase at this point!
Don't tell that to Lamley Group.
The ramp side pickup will appear in red next year
That should be real nice.
Ironically I've been late to every store that got these and the Mini Cooper is the only one that I'm finding on the pegs
The rest of the mix is nice. That's why. Mini collectors are a small group.

Mattel is a walking, barely functioning disaster.
My case was bad too. I'll trade you my Mini Cooper for that Land Rover camper!
Lol, that one is quite popular. This case did finally show up at Target but in very small numbers.
I hate you received unbalanced cases. I want the Spitfire, so this makes me more hopeful of finding one though.

They are trying metal bases here and there but not even the Mattel Creations releases have metal bases.
