Actually a vlogger that provides quality and detailed information about a place whilst making it an enjoyable watch. Well done, subscribed.
Thank you for watching and subscribing! 😊
Hey guys, another great video! Kampot looks beautiful! Keep up the great work!! We are finishing up our time in Malaysia and heading to Thailand later this week! I think we will be adding Cambodia on to next years list! Thanks again!
Thank you. I hope you're trip is going well. Have you eaten Nasi Kandar in Malaysia?
Thanks for visiting Cambodia ❤
Our pleasure!
Great video, thank you! I was literally thinking of booking the same place for an upcoming trip but was a bit worried about being too far from the centre. Do you think just doing a day trip into the centre of town to look around would be fine and just have the accommodation out a bit where it's quiet?
Hello. I think if you have your own transport it's ok. We rented a scooter.
i dont know about u said at the beginning in this video but in Kampot you're full of information.
Thanks. :-)
So funny, we where in kampot at the same time. We might have crossed eachother 😅 Really nice place, i was there for 2 month 😁
Oh really. 😀
Love the style and information in your videos. Long time subscriber! ❤
Yay! Thanks Sheila. Where are you from?
@@AlwaysonaJourney I’m from Canada
What a great video of Kampot - In Kampot there is a bamboo resort built along a small river tributary by a Tampuon (from Ratanakiri) using his traditional style (with some help on how to build western style bathrooms & showers)
It took him and his family 9 months to build and is a beautiful stay if you don't make it to Ratanakiri
Its called Village Life Kampot beautiful garden and relaxing vibe
Thank you very much for the information you're sharing.
You're full of information. Thank you for that.
You're welcome and thanks for watching and commenting. :-)
Is it safe to swim in kampot river? did you get any itchy skin? I love swimming, but I'm more concerned on the water's quality.
I swam in it and had no problems but that's just my personal experience.
Have you been to sabay beach ? People say it's the best place to stay and have food in Kampot
No. I didn't go there.
your videography is top notch.
Thank you. 😊
Thanks, really good video, looks like it could be my favorite spot in Cambodia for retirement. I will check it out next year. I am open water swimmer, so I got to swim every day ,is the river safe for swimming ,what about the beaches are they safe for open water swimming?
The Praek Tuek Chhu River, which flows through Kampot, is generally clean and safe for swimming. However, it's best to avoid swimming in areas where boats or jet skis are operating. The beaches in Kep (30 minute from Kampot) are generally clean and safe for swimming.
So cute together ❤🎉😊
That's kind of you. Thanks.
Hi sorry for not responding but did you come to Switzerland I’m in muttens😅😊
We've never been to Switzerland.
@@AlwaysonaJourney "We"?
@@scifistorybook There’s two of us.
@@AlwaysonaJourney Right! Wasn't sure if it was a new fangled woke pronoun or not. LOL
at Sokchea Kampot Hotel
The hotel we stated at is called Kampot Riverfront Boutique. :-)
Welcome to Cambodia 🇰🇭
Thank you. ;-)
Hi I’m in kampot
:-)
Hi
How much for your room?
I paid $45 a night. That included breakfast and free use of kayaks and paddleboards.
@@AlwaysonaJourney oh okay nice. Thank you
How was the coffee at the boutique?
@@AlwaysonaJourneyWow 😮
Rickshaw???
I don't understand your question.
I didn’t know Cambodia has Rickshaw .. tuk tuk?
@@KH-ey3fp Oops, maybe I said the wrong thing then.

Hi boys
Hello. How you doing? :-)
@@AlwaysonaJourneywe are good … just waking up hahaha
🇰🇭⚡️
:-)
Digital Nomad heaven?
It's a beautiful city.
$16 for a lunch isn't elevated, let's call it what it is, extortion lol. That's about 400% too much. You never see stuff like this in Japan, stadiums, museums, and movie theaters for example charge the prevailing market rate for foods.
It was definitely more than I was happy to pay for lunch.
Hi can you come to Switzerland 😢please I’m in Switzerland
I'd love to. I've never been to Switzerland. ;-)
You're not in Hong Kong. They're called "Samlors" not "Rickshaws" LOL
@@scifistorybook ok. We all make mistakes.
@@AlwaysonaJourney No worries. But for future reference, "Samlor" means "three wheel", a pedalled tricycle. (Same word in Thailand too) ... A rickshaw has two wheels, no pedals, and is pulled along by some poor bugger running on their feet. 😃
Actually, "samlor" is a Thai word, but 30% or so of Khymer language consists of borrowed/shared Thai words. (and visa versa to some extent). Same as English using many French words.
you're going to wear down your mouth muscles smiling all the time on video... it's really not the secret to your success.. just saying.
Thanks for taking the time to share your opinion.
Come on, lets stop having the UK people quoting in USD, tell us GBP 😂 lets have some loyalty 😂
USD are accepted in many places in Cambodia. Plus the biggest percentage viewers are from the US.
Great video guy’s, but I have been to Cambodia 3times, and disliked it every time, but that’s just my opinion. So if you have watched the video try it for yourself you may love the place.
Thank you. Everyone has different opinions and experiences. Why did you dislike it?
@@AlwaysonaJourney
Andrew&Jerry. The first 2times I went with the lads, as we have a week away from time to time, the last time I went was with my wife because we both wanted to go to Angkor Wat, me because I want to see one of the 7wonders of the world and my wife because she is a Buddhist. I am sure you will agree that you have been to places and thought I don’t think I want to come back here. The thing that was a big positive was the online visa process where you uploaded the photo page from you passport and they automatically processed you passport photo to a PDF visa. Keep the videos coming guys I look forward to seeing them all.
I know what you mean. I've definitely been to places and thought it's ok but don't think I'd go back.
You said you disliked my country why you keep coming back again and again?
@@ClampersYou didn’t actually mention why you disliked. Looks like your from AUS or UK. Those people are so full of themselves to understand deep intricate cultures.
Can I get your email?
It's in the video description.
