Hey Dosen! Amazing content as always. But I have a little macro question for you. I've noticed that you tend to leave round 1 very early, often only playing the minimum 3 before going on to the second round to defend a bleed. On the other hand, players like Moshcraft often play down to like one card to gain round control. What is your thought on these decisions? I have one hypothesis that defending a bleed always gives you one extra card therefore more breathing ground. Also the opponent often doesn't understand the reach you got, so they bleed themselves out of valuable combos. Is this how you think?
That's bc Dosen doesn't need last say (he doesn't include tall punish of his own besides Yenvo) so round control doesn't matter. Assimilate generally wants long rounds BUT everyone knows this so most players think "Ah ha! I shall bleed them in R2!" Dosen plays with this in mind and thanks to Calviet along with Henry + Torres making 6-8 more golds... defending the bleed against unexperienced players is *insanely easy* This all basically boils down to red coin abuse bc more often than not if you're on red coin, your opponent is trying to bleed your all gold hand while they're also a card down (that ain't happening lmao) Edit: also passing at 7 while on blue coin ensures that you at least have even cards against a bleed (as well as all the aforementioned bonus gold cards)
Yes this deck really don't need last say and usually my play style is not aggressive and in almost my game, I pass at 6/7. Occasionally I push when I see I can win on even by playing bronzes and cheap gold. But the main reason is already mention here that defending bleed r2 and potentially got card advantage on final round is my goal 😁
There's one card from nilfgard that does damage depending on the construct you have on the battlefield, I wonder if a nilfgard construct deck would be playable
On which match? Sometime opp has disloyal agent too. Then giving braathens will benefit opp. While henrietta will give me coup target and using leader again
@@DosenCasualGamer there were a few matches against non nilfgaard that u could've given braathens. But yes I didn't think about coup target that makes sense.
Yep, enslave assimilate usually performs poorly vs double cross's one. Played against it this evening and got 3 artaud in a round from the guy. Note: also encountered keltullis + defender semi unitless deck with the ancestor ale ((?) the one that infuses unit with mahakam ale and golden froth). A bit interesting if not for the blob new regis thingy that makes it disgusting.
I have a Toussaintoir deck with Henry var Attre. Mine has quite a twist to it. Wish to share, but im still enjoying it too much to be outplayed by my own meme deck 😂😂😂. I would've loved to see how the enslave game turned out
Simply play everything without ever passing... they will need to make a negative play in order to abuse that strat. Got a few forfeits because the dumbasses played the combo anyways and found themselves still losing but 2 cards down lol
yes, but it's simple, you can give these artstocrats their money for 4 commissions, or you can also give them a fake cirile rosa needs some cards but she is definitely better than henry who may lose our match, my opponent lost the game because of him
