Thrifting the Great Glebe garage sale in Ottawa & thrift haul

I went for the first time to thrift at one of the largest garage sales in the area. It was at what is called The Great Glebe Garage Sale in Ottawa, Ontario. It has been going on since 1986, on the 4th saturday of May each year. Most of the residents in the Glebe area participate, although there seems to have been a drop in the number of participants since co-vid.
Hundreds of residents sell their stuff from their front lawns, porches and driveways, as well as neighbourhood stores also holding sidewalk sales. their are also food vendors set up, as well as charities and crafters.
This annual tradition attracts thousands each year.
It is miles long, encompassing 9 different streets. we were lucky if we covered a third and we walked from 9 am until 2 pm.
At the end, I will show what I picked up from the sales. I had a wonderful time and hope to go back again.
Thanks to my son-in-law and my daughter for going with me and for carrying my things I purchased, as well as bottles of water, my purse and snacks. They made it very enjoyable!
