- We had the privilege of having Ben Fitzgerald from Awakening Europe and Awakening Australia speaking Kingdomcity in Perth!
Originally from Melbourne Australia, Ben met Jesus in an encounter that deeply changed him late in 2002 whilst he was very broken and dealing drugs. Since then Ben has lived passionately about one thing: Showing the world Jesus in everyday life and taking the Good News of the Kingdom to the Nations. For several years he served as a pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, California and is now the Director of Awakening Europe. He has a deep conviction that the Nations of this earth will be transformed by radical believers living free and proclaiming Jesus boldly.

@wolfen244 sure I’ll listen. You may have a different perspective, and even if we disagree there’s no reason two people can’t have a conversation about something. People get so offended by opinion these days. It’s crazy
@wolfen244 that’s a lot to follow, but continue. What the Holy Spirit was telling me from this verse was simple.. that they’d lost their intimacy with God. All the things they were doing were good things, but Jesus was more concerned about their closeness to Him. Those works that were done out of love for Him, not discipline or regiment. Not that they left Jesus. But there’s a difference between doing things out of obligation or out of what’s right, and doing something out of love. Also, when we’re intimate with Jesus there may be things we’re doing that are good but not what He’s wanting us to do. Or things were missing out on doing that’s in His will for us simply because we can’t hear His voice. That’s just my take on it.

@wolfen244 sounds a lot like New Age. We live for Christ, in Christ, through Christ. But we are not Christ or god like. God is God and man is man. Man needs God Jesus Christ.
