Yep! So far, in the last 6-1/2 years, I've had to buy 3 more 'Yaks (just from watching Greg and the Boys fishing and having fun!). Haha! Doesn't matter what kind of "Rig" you have, just make sure you Have FUN with it...!
Faked me out. I kept refreshing at 4am... nothing for a whole min. Ggs boys. Glad we all have the same interest. Keep up the great work GB! Thanks for the content
Greg what a first day fishing great adversity sometimes brings great victory. Your emotions and reactions in your videos are so real and we who watch them can relate, learn and understand how much you want your best in every cast. There are some anglers who may never know this. I an so impressed and inspired by every video you produce if young anglers want to inspire to be someone great I would out you at the top of that list thank you for sharing take care God bless and can’t wait for day 2!!!!!
I got into tournament fishing thanks to you, and a few others. I recently finished 12/64 on a really difficult day (20 sustained, 25+ gust). Just glad to not have skunked haha.
I agree with Mike on if your a pro sponsored kayak angler show up to all the kayak events. However I also agree with dutcher. Not all of the non sponsored anglers can make it due to affordability. Gas went up and fees went up . YO sponsors where you at!? Great stuff Greg . Thanks for taking us along on these events. Cheers
Greg, you always make professional quality fishing videos ! The conditions were wet, cold and miserable but the gang rode it out! Looking forward to watching your next video...tight lines!!!
Love the tournament videos. It’s always good to see all the guys together and seeing their antics. Mike is hilarious. Keep up all the great work Greg. God bless
Get after it greg you analyze the shit out of everything fine tuning yourself and your gear making me feel like I'm there learning while teaching I truly enjoy these videos thank you
You may be losing the hook-set on your fish because of an “augering” effect. Augering happens when a hook pivots on its tip and then rotates. I may be imagining this but you seem to have altered the way you play the fish. You are dramatically changing the angle on your retrieve and that can be enlarging the area around the original point of hook penetration; thereby reducing the amount of flesh contacting the hook. Try maintaining the same angle of the hook-set for as long as possible - no dramatic swings from one side to another. Just a thought.
Cold sheets of rain - BRRR! The suspense was killing me because we know how fickle bed fish can be. There are times I wish I had a cattle prod in the boat because the frustration reaches astronomical heights. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you on Day 2. Thinking positive 😊🎣😊
you can plug the scupper holes if you want to especially during the colder months but that constant water helps keep the dirt out the boat sometimes as its constantly coming in and out and its where greg releases the babies xD
Great stuff as always greg. I just did back to back tourneys there. Such an awesome lake. The bite really changed from my last trip 2 weeks ago but we managed to get on some.
I just started fishing last year, got a kayak, and started watching your tournament videos like crazy. I'm getting pulled towards them like a bass on a dropshot. Look forward to competing in the future!
I was rooting for you to catch that big girl at the end, Greg!!! Sorry it didn’t work out 😢But happy you got your limit! Great video as always! Good luck for the next day! Can’t wait to see what happened!!!👍🏼😊
Love it and think it was the best choice for me when upgrading (vs going to a live sonar). Not needed all the time of course but I told a buddy this the other week it just gives you so much more information and I believe subconsciously it's making me more dialed and tuned in with whats around me even if I'm not using it to make direct pin point casts
Been staying at that same exact spot around 4th of July the last couple of years. Caught one random smallie on a wacky rig while chillin in a tube in the water. Otherwise I haven't caught jack there lol
I had a house on Tulloch for 20 years..fished it to death. Fish worth mentioning…7.4 lb smallie and a 9.4 lb Brown trout. All those years never caught a largemouth over 5. Fun watching you fish all the familiar sites…
Greg it looks like you are reel setting on your drop shot bites. I saw a lot of your fish were lightly hooked. Think you still need to rod set as you reel set to get hook penetration.
Oh coffee is hot and sweet and good 👍, well Greg I have a feeling that monster fish you were after was probably laying her eggs. Oh and your coffee ☕️ in the morning wasn't great lol. Hope you had better luck the next day. Can't wait to see.
Seriously five grand an entry with a forty thousand dollar boat ???? Lame fish killers, taking the biggest fish they can and running them at sixty mph bouncing all the way, to hold them up for photographs ????? What manly man needs to hold up some fish and puff their chest ???? It's insanity ???? Measure photograph and release, is sanity for protecting our Bass ! Stop live wells in Bass fishing !
Honestly it's just too much of a time commitment, I'd do the gambler series as well if each circuit was like 3 events and a ToC but I can't do like 16 events a year. That being said I think I'm switching over to boat tournaments soon :p.
👍✌️ Greg that betting fish didn't bite because you were pinned on the shoreline.. maybe if you would have stayed out off the shoreline and kept coming at her from different angles you could have gotten her to bite?????? ✌️👍
I've said this many times before, but your drag is set too loose on your drop shot. You're not getting a solid hook set and you can adjust your drag after you've hooked the fish. I use the same rod, a size 4 Decoy hook, and a worm nose hooked and I don't lose nearly as many fish as I've seen you lose and I fish lots of bodies of water with crazy ass smallies. Just a thought.
You hit that fish right in the noggin that was funny, I think you might need to change up your fishing gear, drags way to light ,rod seems way to flimsy?. Maybe me but in that shallow water try a weightless Senko and just put a nail in the tail with a 5 EWG and try setting the hook straight up your sweeping it parallel to the water which kinda pulls the hook out instead of up blah blah blah just fish better were cheering for you 😊
This whole group is great, but Mike is HILARIOUS. Also I love the tournament videos. Thanks Greg!
mike is a national treasure!🤣
Santa is such a humble guy. Glad to see him fishing and in your vids! ❤
Hell of a fishing channel! I just can’t get enough of these tournament videos!
Yep! So far, in the last 6-1/2 years, I've had to buy 3 more 'Yaks (just from watching Greg and the Boys fishing and having fun!). Haha!

Coffee ☕ time and Greg is the best combo ever
Coach hope surgery went well. Glad you’re back with the team. Thanks Greg for keeping the videos coming this season!!! Most definitely needed

Man, I love your tournament videos, Greg. They always get me excited to go on a fishing trip.
thank you sir!
Santa is the man right now period.
I got into tournament fishing thanks to you, and a few others. I recently finished 12/64 on a really difficult day (20 sustained, 25+ gust). Just glad to not have skunked haha.
Great video as always! Cold and wet always makes a tough day on the water, but at least the fish were biting!
Cheers
I agree. I took a break from tourney this year😂 . Donated a little too much last two year. I'll be back next year
Man the excitement when you found the bedding fish . I could feel the excitement with ya .
haha yep, definitely excited but man the disappointment when she wouldn't go was the same
Greg, you always make professional quality fishing videos ! The conditions were wet, cold and miserable but the gang rode it out! Looking forward to watching your next video...tight lines!!!
Thank you, Vince! Tight lines
Love the double-jumpers!
I do too! (just not on tournament dayMilk12345!)
Love the tournament videos. It’s always good to see all the guys together and seeing their antics. Mike is hilarious. Keep up all the great work Greg. God bless
Get after it greg you analyze the shit out of everything fine tuning yourself and your gear making me feel like I'm there learning while teaching I truly enjoy these videos thank you
thank you sir
You and your friends are really a funny group of characters. Must be fun

About 300yrds passed the North shore bridge on the left side where it curves there is a cove that has lots of beds.
Man.. those Natives hold a ton of water in the floor. That would drive me crazy! Especially in the winter lol
you can plug the scupper holes if you want to especially during the colder months but that constant water helps keep the dirt out the boat sometimes as its constantly coming in and out and its where greg releases the babies xD
Great stuff as always greg. I just did back to back tourneys there. Such an awesome lake. The bite really changed from my last trip 2 weeks ago but we managed to get on some.
Time to turn and burn with a cup of Java. And enjoy another Greg tournament video.
Way to grind out day 1 boys. Well done
Love the gang💪🏼. Order of funny: Greg, Mike, Aldie, Santa and Coach. Nothing against Coach and glad your back👍🏼😬😎
I just started fishing last year, got a kayak, and started watching your tournament videos like crazy. I'm getting pulled towards them like a bass on a dropshot. Look forward to competing in the future!
I am obsessed with this channel. Such great vids
great vid. editing is top notch, as always. Looking forward to Day Two and seeing if you caught that big girl the next day.
thank you sir!
Great running into u guys there Friday. . Water level got me last year camping too kayak was at dam in the a.m
Nice work bud great to see the fellas back at it the weather looks horrible
Love the tournament videos. They're the best.
I was rooting for you to catch that big girl at the end, Greg!!! Sorry it didn’t work out 😢But happy you got your limit! Great video as always! Good luck for the next day! Can’t wait to see what happened!!!👍🏼😊
Greg, what are your thoughts about 360 now that you've had some time with it?
Love it and think it was the best choice for me when upgrading (vs going to a live sonar). Not needed all the time of course but I told a buddy this the other week it just gives you so much more information and I believe subconsciously it's making me more dialed and tuned in with whats around me even if I'm not using it to make direct pin point casts
Least the lost ones this time weren't game changers! Was definitely worth trying for the female, tough luck!
I love tulloch they’re absolute freaks in there. I’ve got both of my PBs there during spawning. Great vid
I normally don’t laugh out loud, but the first 10 and a half minutes of this video cracked me up.
Been staying at that same exact spot around 4th of July the last couple of years. Caught one random smallie on a wacky rig while chillin in a tube in the water. Otherwise I haven't caught jack there lol
Santa with one exposed foot all day in that cold?..now that is champion 🏆
🥶🥶🥶
just like mike said. i think this tournament series is just slept on.
I had a house on Tulloch for 20 years..fished it to death. Fish worth mentioning…7.4 lb smallie and a 9.4 lb Brown trout. All those years never caught a largemouth over 5. Fun watching you fish all the familiar sites…

Nice video! Btw that bass that you caught at 30:20 was a red eye bass, not a smallie.
Looking good Coach.
Wassup Greg! Always a good time. Love the cabin right by the water
sick cabin! woulda been better in summer tho haha
Keep your rod to the sky not to the side. It’s not a wand hahah think of dumbbell hammer curls 🙏🏼 you should be winning all these tournaments Greg!!
Oh coffee is hot and sweet and good 👍, well Greg I have a feeling that monster fish you were after was probably laying her eggs. Oh and your coffee ☕️ in the morning wasn't great lol. Hope you had better luck the next day. Can't wait to see.
Slayer sticker on the Canyon!!!!!
Not a bad first day, Greg!😎
Love your videos👍👌😃 we still have ice on the lakes herr in sweden
I like Dutcher as the camera man!
👍🏼
agreed!
Hello, great video. I'm going camping here next weekend with family. Is there any trout here in this lake?
He said " one of you guys is growling"....LMFAO I'm dead!
You need a Huddleston with stinger hook for those big bed fish
That lake is a VERY TOUGH LAKE, I live by it. It's a challenge lake for sure.
When you were fishing for the giant bed fish, I really think any Zman soft plastic Nedrig would’ve probably be the trick 🏆
Nice video as always.
Come for the content, stay for the net jobs😂
serious question here… I’m asking for a friend 😊… why does everybody keep their scupper holes open/keep their feet in water?
Good luck on day 2!
Love the tourney vids man
Really great video , Could i know whether you have interested in testing our LiFePo4 battery 12.8V 100AH , perfectly suited for trolling motor !
You need a jet boil with the coffee press
Mike and I have one, we just forgot them. lol 🤦
They sure are handy. You guys are awesome.
I really do envy how many tournaments you guys get to fish. My wallet is crying just thinking about it!
luckily we all seem to cash a check here and there so our losses aren't as bad haha
man, i wish i had a crew like this
They make power poles for kayaks??
Man I was hoping you’ll catch that 20 incher.
I know your thing is kayak and it’s amazing no doubt! But man I would love to see you grow in the Bass Elites! You belong for sure
@@jeffc2630 I agree, but with 1 correction: rigged bass boats cost way above $40K.
This CA weather has been odd to say the least. Still, always a great day when you’re on the water.
I just want to know what I’m doing wrong when I’m on the water because I can never kill it like you Greg 😢😂
Just curious, are you not allowed to add scent in a tourney?
Is your drag too tight? Yanking hooks
The male that you keep catching is a spotted bass just FYI
🔥content 👌
Keep hitting that pattern
@12:35 best Clip of this video😂😂 👂
hahaha that is a screenshot for later use no doubt
Saw some people part orf Washington Kayak Bass Fishing were with Greg in a post on their FB page lol I was like...thats greg 😂😂😂
"Second time I caught you" lol.
Honestly it's just too much of a time commitment, I'd do the gambler series as well if each circuit was like 3 events and a ToC but I can't do like 16 events a year.
That being said I think I'm switching over to boat tournaments soon :p.
The goat
You should always get the net out unless you've seen the fish
Another tourney video!
Tell the snoring people to get a sleep study and a chapter machine to stop the snoring
I meant a c pap machine
👍✌️ Greg that betting fish didn't bite because you were pinned on the shoreline.. maybe if you would have stayed out off the shoreline and kept coming at her from different angles you could have gotten her to bite?????? ✌️👍

DUDE WTF IT IS COLD DOWN HERE TO ❗❗
You hit that fish right in the noggin that was funny, I think you might need to change up your fishing gear, drags way to light ,rod seems way to flimsy?. Dude the amount of fish I’ve seen you lose at the boat is brutal. So heartbreaking 😩
It’s almost unbearable to watch 😂
Need to move to lake tullik and buy some land
Ray Charles? Come on Mike. Trying to hard.
Greg ❤
One thing I noticed about you man you need to start changing out your hooks brody
Catch them brother
Why don’t you just bring keurig pods? Just add hot water not filtering
Crazy not to throw a chatterbait under those conditions. 🤷🏽♂️
agreed and i threw it for a bit and only had one bump on it, just didn't put it in the video
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
amateur hour there for a couple mins 28-30 lol
agreed hahah
29:50 that’s what she said lol
Don't forget to drink water and get a little glucose while you're out there.
First to the key
Coffee and Greg Blanchard in the morning drinking coffee and watching Greg Blanchard while I sip coffee 👍🏼
