It’s comforting to realize that Buddhahood isn’t some unattainable state that only the “special” or “perfect” can reach, it’s always there. We just need to “see” it.
Exactly. In order to see it, Buddhism suggests that we continue our practice, meaning that we practice to get out of our comfort zone. So, it ends up letting us know that it is ultimately comforting to get out of the comfort. This is our bodhisattva progress towards the infinity of Buddhahood, the unending discovery of our new self.
I think this is a very important thing to talk about. Laypeople often think that enlightenment is becoming nonexistent or being outside the cycle of samsara, but that's missing the point by a mile. Avoidance, more accurately, the avoidance of suffering is counterintuitive in one's path to enlightenment. Becoming enlightened and being completely separate from samsara as a whole, are not things that can coexist.
Excellent point! What is interesting in the Lotus Sutra is that it seems the sutra is also equally valuing moments in which people tried to avoid the cycle of samsara and initially misconceived enlightenment to be a non-existent of selfhood as all seeds of their Buddhahood. The past that you regret and hate for a long time is the seed of your awakening. Sometimes it is hard to process. The Lotus Sutra is perhaps the ultimate guide for how to make sense of all of our history (although it does not mean everyone is allowed to avoid having their ethical responsibilities in our society).
Thanks for bringing up another commonly used translation "ten worlds." You are right. This video did not take up how each of these ten relate to one another. Your "mutual possession" is nice. My take would be "mutual entailment" or "interpenetration" of ten worlds.
Important to note: These realms are REAL and not "metaphorical" things that we subjectively interpret, meaning just as you are awake now, you can reawake in another. What's fascinating and special about Buddhism is that it doesn't depict Gods as perfect unattainable unfalliable, that ALL conscious/sentient beings are subject to the wheel of Dhamma.

So these are actual gods and realms
I may be misremembering this, but i believe there are stories in Buddhism of souls achieving nirvana from any of the 9 realms including hell.
This is excellent. If you can find out more about this, please by all means share that on this page.
