    You are the FIRST I have heard mention consignment. I find a lot of nice stuff that is under my eBay price minimum (~ $20) but still a decent return. As long as the price is right, I'll pick it up and turn it over to consignment. You can make hundreds of $$ per month moving such tail items through consignment. I take them clean items, they do the rest. Yes, they take 50% of the price they sell it for as their cut. But if I can give them 10 outdoor shirts (Columbia and similar) that I paid $2 each for, I'lll get $10 per shirt for them. So thats a quick $80 profit. A lot of my Goodwill bin items go consignment. I cherry pick the very best that I sell myself, give them the rest. It's also a way to reduce your workload. No writing ads, no taking pictures, no packing and shipping.

    I love selling winter accessories. People lose them a lot, they aren’t size specific, and they are easy to ship. Also people love to gift them.

    Wool can be washed in warm water too, just not agitated. I wash all my handmade wool garments by hand in warm water with Eucalan and never had a problem as long as the piece is not exposed to running water or agitated in any way. Also wrapping the piece in a towel afterwards (rather than wringing it out) can help speed up the drying process. Great video thank you!

      what do you mean not agitated ?

    • @satskibees
      @satskibees 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      don't shake the water or the garment while the garment is wet or immersed in water. Agitate the water with a hand to create foam/bubbles before you put the garment in. @@themoorishwarrior1606

    Arcteryx is pronounced like ark-terix and is very popular in Canada. If you find the hat with the dino skeleton definitely pick it up!

    Vintage Coogi beanies are 100% STR with many prices in the $50+ range. I know this because I left one behind recently and looked it up later and kicked myself. Looks to still be holding true.
    Also, worth knowing your 90s vintage skateboard brand logos (Spitfire, Independent, Shorty's, World Industries, New Deal, Plan B, Stereo, Alien Workshop, H-Street, etc) because there's always someone looking for those in beanie form

    beanies are handy all year round if you have long hair... the longer ones also work as the most effective sleep mask ever as they don't slip off like all the purpose built ones do

    I love wearing beanies and my favorite ones are cashmere and alpaca.
    Alpaca is good for people with allergies as the wool doesn't contain lanolin (cashmere and sheep's wool do).
    I get eczema on the sides of my face and alpaca is usually the least itchy for me to wear. Cashmere can be okay too though. It depends on the size of the knit they use.

      lined beanies are a good option. Wool irritates my skin too, but if its lined with cotton fleece you get the best of both worlds.

    I wear a lot of thrifted clothes. For some reason beanies are a line I won't cross. It just makes my skin crawl to imagine putting one on my head that someone else wore, even if i wash it. Nope that's one dusty old hat that I won't F with.
    Sell them, however, sure.
