Great video! We purchased 2 Lincoln Cobots a year ago. We have had some ups and downs with changing from Lincoln power cable assembly to Binzel. Really wished I had found your channel sooner.
Once again. Excellente video! I have a suggestion for you Adam. I have a Cooper™ CRX-10iA/L Water-Cooled Welding Cobot Cart and i get a lots of ”contact stop” alarm. The Fanuc guys up in Montreal recommended me to go through the payload and arm load seetings, cause they beleive its not well done from Lincoln factory. It would be nice if you can make a video on how to do it correctly.
Hey Adam, great video! I work with FANUC as an educational distributor and always direct our schools to your videos! I plan on making a few videos of our "Helpful Documents" do you have any tips or what recording software you use when teaching in Roboguide?
Do you have any videos or tips on programming a camera mounted to the robot? I have programmed it in a fixed position but have now been tasked with programming it while mounted to the camera.
Hello ADAM what a great job! Can a French viewer suggest a topic? In One video you deal with how to export programs as text. Could you cover the .CSV file side of this? My personal interest goes to preparing the palette scheme in an excel fill and importing the points to the Robot. But there must be other usages and interest for excel exchanges. Have a nice day Jens-Petter
Hello, I have this fault CPMO-073 “Need BWD” fault. I’ve been recovering it by moving 1 line up and started moving. But this happens every cycle at the same point. Do you know what can be and how to fixed this issue? Thanks
High pitch could be normal could be bad... depends on the acoustics of your room. But jitter?.... Always bad. I recommend checking payload settings - with special attention to Inertia and Center of Mass. This update does help with the manual guided tuning, so that's cool. But if yours is noisy in Auto - it may need some extra attention.
@@AdamWillea I just updated from V9.40/38 to V9.40/58 and the high-pitch noise is soooo much more tolerable now. I guess is was something to do with the Servo Amplifier tuning back then, because we were kind of early adopters and I had the robot replaced due to this and other problems and the new cobot had just the same "problems" as the "old" one.... Anyways, just letting you know that the best solution at the moment for bad-sounding CRX is updating! Thank a lot for the help man! Keep up the great work!
Hey Adam. I'm just starting out in the robotics field, specifically FANUC, what are some courses that I should take that you feel would be very useful for a new person like myself? Right now i'm studying the HandlingTool Operations and Programming book and will have the chance to learn on a CRX robot here soon.
Sweet!!! Yes definitely start with the HandlingTool Ops and Programming. After that I strongly recommend the Advanced TPP training. From there, you should pick what's best for you: Palletizing, 2D Vision, iRPickTool, etc., etc., since the classes get pretty specialized from there. For CRX, start with free training at crx.fanucamerica.com, then run from there!
We’re having issues with our vision Our robots run for about 3 hrs and then it’ll start missing product. It’ll have a message saying vision overrun and robots start missing product and the pendant has delayed response when you push the buttons. And then the next day same thing; it runs for about 3 hrs and same thing happens
Hey, Can't find a way to message you so will ask here. Came in to find out we had an hour down time due to teach pendant being in Step mode. Then they call us. I know there is a way to take out of step when Auto is enabled and running. Can't find it. ????
Thanks for the request - FANUC does offer manuals that detail the setup, and since I'm not allowed to teach from Training Books/manuals anymore, YOYO (you're on your own) for this one. Please contact tech support for that manual.
Yup! You can use "Data Transfer Between Robots" to simply "call" a program if it's already loaded onto both. Or if you need to write a program in one cobot, and copy to another, you can do that with FTP commands and your laptop. (no options required)
Hello Adam, I was wondering if you could assist us with creating a video for our LR Mate 200iD robot. We recently purchased this robot and have been attempting to add 2D vision and line-tracking software, but unfortunately, we have not been successful so far. Could you please let us know if you have any experience or expertise in this area? We would be grateful for any assistance you could provide. Thank you.
I do have a tutorial for the 2D Vison part - browse through and check that out. I do not have one about Line Tracking - and unfortunately I probably can't in the near future due to the current "merger" with FANUC's training channel. But we do have some good manuals on it, and tech support can fill in the blanks. Thanks!
I find it a little ridiculous that you didn’t mention where to find the update files, and haven’t responded to anyone who has asked. I’ve been looking, on company time, for 30 minutes now, just trying to find an update file. No progress. I’ve looked on fanuc’s website, other robot forums for the CRX, as well as other videos and their comments. I think locating the update file is a PRETTY IMPORTANT STEP. And you’ve replied to plenty of other comments, but can’t provide a link or any information? Great video in all other aspects, but come on man.
Nice to see you are back Adam. Another great video as always. Keep them coming.
Time always tells, I'm looking forward to the evolution behind Adam's support with FANUC! Fantastic info to start the new format with 👍

Nice to see you back! Greetings from Brazil!
Hey, I’m glad you are back. Thank you Adam
This came in real handy, thank you
Glad to see you keep going and for Fanuc to be ok with it!
Love note from my side 😋 "please give us a tour of your workshop" thanks 🥹
I'd love to show my plethora of tools and motorized toys sometime :)
Welcome back! Great video as always!

If you do a podcast, you should have your original robot mentor on. I hear he's a great guy!

Good Morning Adam, I'm having a hard-time finding the update online. Would it be possible to help me locate the latest files please.

Bro... How can we check hold faults in fanuc robot?
Hello Adam! Nice job as allways! Does this update solves the terrible and annoying high pitch sound and jitter that this robot has?

I keep having contact force stop auto status check randomly payload is correct can an update help with this?
