Traditionally khumba mela is related to the 12 years it takes Jupiter to revolve around the Sum. Jupiter is debilitated in Capricorn where Dharma (truth) is at its lowest point. When it enters Aquarius (Khumba) righteousness comes back. That will be April 5th, Monday
